After setting the Alarm Clock before going to bed last night, I was surprised that I was not tossing or turning, just simply sleeping. The reason for setting the alarm in the first place, is that one of us would have an early appointment. Having figured that I could stay in bed as late as 6:30, but when I finally rolled over to see there on the clock showed there was only Three Minutes left for me to stay in bed anyway.
It wasn’t long before I was heading out the door, while Kathy stayed in bed. There was so much Humidity in the air that I had to squeegee the Windows and run the Defroster to clear them. Soon I was heading down Riverside Drive eastbound for Tecumseh. This Clear Imaging is the only one that performs these Injections outside of the Hospitals themselves.
Having arrived early, I then walked to the Tecumseh Medical Center on the other side of the parking lot. Inside the Pharmacy was still closed and was not supposed to open until 7:30, but they opened early as well. As soon as I proved who I was and presented my Extended Medical Insurance Card, I was soon walking back to the Car. I had barely sat down, when the Receptionist opened the door to Clear Imaging. After filling in the typical forms, I was brought in to the treatment room. Within a minute the Doctor came in to discussed the injury to my Shoulder and explained what this treatment would be. By the time the Freezing kicked in, he used the Ultra-Sound to guide the Cortisone Injection to just the right spot. I was headed for home before my original 8:00 Appointment Time.
Since I didn’t feel like cooking this morning, after a quick stop at Wendy’s, I was on my way home with breakfast in a bag.
Kathy was walking into the Livingroom at the same time I was walking into the Apartment. Breakfast was tasty and filling as was the Coffee.
As
we sat at our Computers,
Storm
Clouds
would come and go without any
Rain.
When we enjoyed our Grilled
Tomato/Cheese Sandwiches
for lunch, there wasn’t a Cloud
around.
Later around 5:00 the Rain started coming down. That was also around the time our daughter Karen called as she was heading home from work. Unfortunately for her, she had forgotten her Umbrella in her car and the Rain started when she was half way to it.
Just as I was about to cook supper the Power flickered a few times before going completely off. Looking down the hall, the only lights on were the Emergency Lights. Also looking out the Balcony Door towards the east, the Traffic Light close to the Marina was completely out. Since we still felt full from the lunch that we had ate nearly Six Hours before, we kept supper was very lite. We settled for Nacho Corn Chips. It was more than enough to satisfy our appetites. We don’t know why, but the Power finally came on an Hour later.
We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before watching the “11 o’clock Local News”. Along with the 104 F (40 C) Humidex, we had some bad weather move through our area earlier.
We already have the Alarm set for another early morning appointment.
