If I can just remember to keep taking those Prescribed Medications, my problem of sleeping might become a thing of the past. Last night’s sleep added up just minutes shy of Eight Hours and it probably would have been longer if the Electrical Power had not gone off. That may not sound like a bid deal for most, but if you are someone that uses a CPAP Machine, it’s not fun waking up Gasping for air.
I’ve done such a good job of using up the food in the Fridge that all we had was our Breakfast Juice to take our morning Medications and Vitamins with, before heading out the door. Another advantage of going out so early was that the Humidex only felt like 86 F (30 C) at that time. It would later feel like 100 F (38 C).
Our
first stop was at Wendy’s
where we used a coupon to have breakfast. Kathy really felt energized
afterwards, so I informed her that Wendy’s
does not have Decafinated
Coffee.
She
had lots of energy today.
We didn’t want to waste too much time so we stopped at Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. Next we stopped at Dollarama to replenish our Breakfast Juice and Brisk Iced Tea, before heading over to Zehr’s grocery store. There we gathered more Produce and Dairy Products before getting a few things in their Pharmacy. There were plenty of bargains that we could have taken advantage of, but with our Freezer still being fairly well stocked, they were left for someone else to take advantage of.
As we were about to leave the parking lot, we had to go through the Walmart parking lot because the Lunchtime Traffic strongly resembled Rush Hour. This move saved us nearly Ten Minutes of not having to inch our ways to the Parkway.
Our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart got a good workout, bringing our purchases up to the Apartment. It took another Twenty Minutes to get everything put away, before we were finally able to turn on our Computers.
We shared an Apple for an afternoon snack and that kept us satisfied until after 7:00 when we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza loaded with Chopped Mushrooms.
We later watched a few episodes of “Monk” before the “11 o’clock Local News”. Looks like we just went from the Frying Pan to the Fire. Staying cool will be a priority before we see some storms heading our way.
We hope that all our American Family and Friends had a Happy 4th of July.
