We took the time to enjoy breakfast this morning, before taking our Teas to the Computers. We also knew that things were getting thin in the Fridge and Freezer so we put together a Shopping List.
I looked at the Clock and then our Shopping List before determining that we’d be having lunch out. It was warm enough I didn’t wear a jacket. Fortunately, there was no breeze so the 59 F (15 C) was comfortable.
Our first stop was Wendy’s where we took advantage of their $4.00 Special along with Seniors Soft Drinks. Our entire meal was $9.04 with Tax.
As we were enjoying our meal I looked up to see a Yellow Corvette hardly moving in the traffic outside. It was then that I noticed the Traffic Light at the corner was down, so traffic was backing up in all directions. At that rate it we would be there an Hour. I’ve mentioned knowing my way around the City better than Kathy. I drove around the Wendy’s outlet, down an alley and came out in a residential area. A few more turns and we were pulling into the Zehr’s parking lot.
Traffic was still backed up on Tecumseh Road but we were inside the store, getting the Fruits, Veggies and Frozen Foods we needed.
On our way out, we drove through the Walmart parking lot while the traffic was still at a standstill. We were heading north on the Parkway long before the other cars started moving behind us.
Inside the Apartment we had to open the Balcony Door to cool things off. The Building Managers sent out a Notice the other day that the Heat had been turned on.
After everything was put away I again had an unexpected Snap. It’s sad that I can’t sleep at night without a bit of help, that comes back to haunt me through the day.
We watched a couple of episodes of Criminal Minds this evening, before watching a Hallmark Movie.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Reasons why English is hard to learn,
The wind was too strong to wind the sail.
You have a built-in compass to get through Windsor. I would have been totally lost :-)
