Amazon, Amazon.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even though we were up earlier than most days yesterday and we were late getting to bed, I still managed to be up before 7:00 this morning. The only reason I got up then, was because I was tired of staring at the ceiling.

I readied things for breakfast, opened the Balcony Blinds then started working on my Computer. It was close to an Hour later when the room started getting brighter. After hardly seeing any Blue Sky yesterday, that was all we would see for the entire day today. When Kathy came out to join me the Sun was so bright she turned the Blinds a bit. Though it was bright the temperature was at 36 F (2 C) outside at the time.

Finally aback at the Computer, I wanted to get more information about the Denim Pants that we need to return to Amazon. I was surprised to find a Link right on the confirmation page that allowed me to fill in why they were being returned and find out where we would take them. They sent a QR Code that I photographed with my phone. Now we return the Pants to Staples, no Box, no Return Sticker, just show them the Code and that’s it. When did Staples become an Amazon return center?

For lunch we shared the Leftovers that we brought home from yesterday’s Brunch along with some desserts that our daughter-in-law Melissa sent home with us.

I had also ordered an Electronic Battery Booster last week that can start a Diesel Engine twice the size in our Truck. Monitoring its progress all day, it kept showing that it had been Shipped, but not out for Delivery. Since it was past 4:30, I started chopping vegetables that we’d have for supper. That was when Melissa from Guardian Storage called to say we had a Package. There was no way that we could get there before they close, so we’ll get it tomorrow. Supper was Sauteed Asparagus, Mushrooms and Zucchini along with Grilled All Beef Hotdogs. It worked out perfectly.

The Weather Guesser on the 6 o’clock Local News showed we’d be cooling to the Freezing Mark tonight due to the lack of Cloud coverage. We’ll see our Indian Summer starting next week.

  1. Yes, we have also returned items to Amazon through Staples. Seemed strange that they didn't want any packaging with the items.

  2. Battery boosters are a great investment. Do you know what brand you got? We been looking at the NOCO brand. I waited for Amazon days and the one I wanted wasn't on sale.
Oh well. Y'all take care stay warm and safe.

  3. I always repack Amazon returns with the return page inside and new shipping label outside. The Stapels take Amazon regular items as does the Post Office. However items returned to the States or larger items usually go to the UPS store.I learned that some things are better bought in person than through Amazon, but it's convenient, isn't it.
