Still Asking.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I was very surprised how well I slept last night, after such a traumatic afternoon. We both seemed rested, but Kathy continued to ask about yesterday’s visitors. I would repeatedly have to explain to her, that it was only a dream, because the entire time she claimed it was happening, I was sitting there working on my Computer and we were the only ones in the Apartment.

With an earlier appointment than we like to have we were heading out the door. That’s where everything fell apart. Somehow in the rush I managed to leave my wallet behind. Though Kathy had brought her Jacket, she was finding that wearing Capris was not comfortable in 54 F (12 C) temperatures. We both made a mad dash upstairs to right the problems.

I had Planned on taking the Parkway to the Expressway across the City to save time, but when we got to the Traffic Light to make our turn, the City Traffic Control was there painting the Turning Arrows on the road. With the clock ticking away, we continued west down Riverside Drive. Imagine our surprise when the Construction Detour was moved to a side-street. We were able to drive all the way across the City without stopping for a single Traffic Light.

Because we arrived exactly on time and our Family Doctor was running behind, we had to wait Five Minutes before getting to see him. Right in front of Kathy, I explained what happened yesterday, and that I was waiting for the Windsor Essex County Alzheimer Society to call back. Kathy said nothing about it, when George said it would be good for us both.

When I mentioned needing to take the old Vertigo Medications along with the new Medication prescribed by the Pain Center, he simply said that happens sometimes.

Our breakfast snack had now left us feel hungry, so we stopped at Wendy’s for brunch. We enjoyed Grilled Chicken Wraps with a small Chocolate Frosty. Having something cold to eat when it is already cold outside, was offset by a Senior’s Coffee.

Wanting to get some exercise in, I suggested walking around the Tecumseh Mall. But trying to park near the westerly entrance was impossible because Contractors were repaving that area. Instead, we walked around the newly built Michael’s for over an Hour. When we felt tired, we headed for home.

The WECAS had not responded to my E-Mail to stop in for a visit. We might have to just drop in.

Kathy would later ask about yesterday’s visitors two more times through the day.

We enjoyed Honey Garlic Spareribs with Sauteed Potato Slices and Acorn Squash for supper.

We later watched “Forensic Files” before watching the “11 o’clock Local News”. Looks like we are already into Fall weather.

Another appointment tomorrow.
