Better News and Birthday Wishes.

Normally I only have problems sleeping when the Alarm has been set. It was not set last night, but I spent most of the night moving between my Recliner and the Bed.

When I opened my eyes to see this morning’s appointment was only Ninety Minutes away, things started moving fairly quick. Our breakfast snack was just enough to take our morning medications and enough to see us through to an early lunch.

We both wore Jackets heading out the door this morning and we are glad we did. The temperature at that time was only 52 F (11 C). With Twenty MPH Wind Gusts between our building and the one to our east, that creates a Vortex affect, we would have been better off wearing Coats.

It is hard to believe that it’s over a Year now, since my Hip Replacement Surgery. I was a little concerned that I had messed things up, on the day that I fell and injured my Shoulder. At today’s appointment, my Surgeon looked at the X-Rays and assured me everything was healing properly. He was glad that I didn’t injure myself further and other than that, any remaining discomfort will slowly disappear. If I have any questions in the future feel free to call and I should get back to enjoying life.

Kathy only asked about the Girls and Cats, once today.

Like yesterday, we stopped at Wendy’s to enjoy an even earlier lunch. Today we had Senior’s Soft Drinks rather than Coffee. It was only 11:30 when we were heading off to do some shopping.

Yesterday, we got in some walking exercise, but today we were picking up some food stocks. Our first stop was Dollarama before getting our Produce, Dairy and Frozen Foods at the Zehr’s grocery store.

Due to more Outdoor Construction being done to the building by the New Management Company, we needed to bring our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart full of groceries through the Front Entrance. Under normal conditions that would be frowned on.

After getting everything put away, I needed to Text, because Kathy doesn’t a couple of Birthday Wishes. Both our son Kevin, and son-in-law Greg, share the same Birth Date. It must have been a special day, because they both are willing to help anybody that needs it.

While I was cooking supper our daughter Karen called while on her way home from work, to see how we are doing.

We enjoyed Perogies for supper, with Sour Cream, fresh cooked Bacon Bits and Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. That was more than enough.

We later watched “Forensic Files” before the “11 o’clock Local News”. Fall is definitely here.

Another appointment tomorrow and I’m not planning on setting the Alarm.
