It’s only been Two Days since I started taking the Prescribed Medication issued by the Nurse Practitioner, but I have noticed a big difference in the quality of my sleep. On the negative side, I am glad there are pieces of furniture to steady myself on in the morning. The Pharmacist was not just kidding when he said, “May cause Drowsiness”. Kathy won’t know that, until she reads the Blog in the morning.
Even though it took longer to make, Kathy still enjoyed her plate sized Chocolate/Banana Pancake for breakfast, not realizing the time difference. It was filling enough that we only had a Trail Bar for lunch.
Today’s Humidex topped out at 95 F (35 C), but if you were in the direct Sunlight, you could feel it. Kathy didn’t want to go anywhere this afternoon, until I mentioned having supper out. When we went out the rear entrance to the building, the 25 MPH (40 KLM) Northeast Wind Gusts, made you think you needed a Coat to wear. Another Hundred Feet further and you wanted back into the AC.
When
we arrived at Wendy’s
for supper the place was packed with
families that had participated in Baseball
Tournaments.
Since their
Coupons
expired last Sunday,
we have
tried a few other places, but no other Fast-Food Outlets,
give you the same
value
for your money as they do. It also helps that they let you substitute
Chili
or Chili-Cheese
Nachos
for Fries
and Frosties
for the Soft
Drinks.
Being a
Senior,
Wendy’s
gives you a smaller Free
Soft Drink
or Coffee.
I later
showed
Kathy, that without the Coupon,
there was an additional $11.50
in
costs, for the same orders.
With the Tecumseh Mall closing at 6:00 on Sundays, we headed back to the Apartment. Kathy walked in from the parking lot with me.
A little later we watched the original movie “Sister Act” for entertainment. It still had us laughing.
