Though we managed to sleep in slightly this morning, we still managed to enjoy some Cereal with Blueberries for breakfast. We took the time to enjoy our Coffees at the Computers this morning. I barely had the chance to see the forecast, because of the continued problems I’m having to simply open any of the programs.
With a noon hour appointment, we left early enough to navigate the Construction Detours. We managed to arrive at the Erie St. Clair radiology clinic with time to spare. Since they had most of the needed information sent by my Hip Surgeon, I was called in early enough to be leaving before my appointed time.
Kathy and I would later recall X-rays taken years ago, when the large Negative Films were used. You had to lay perfectly still while holding your breath, then wait until they were developed before you could leave. Today, this has been Digitized just like Cameras, totally speeding up the entire process. Tell that to your grandchildren today and they don’t believe you. Just like Plaster Casts and Party Line Telephones mounted on the wall.
Heading towards home Kathy and I chose to stop at Popeye’s to have lunch. We took advantage of their $4.00 Menu to keep our costs down, along with our intakes.
When
we were grocery shopping yesterday, I didn’t use a List,
because we basically needed everything. It wasn’t until later,
when I
was putting things away, that
I realized I had forgotten the Cherry
Tomatoes
used in our Stir
Fries.
Kathy decided to just stay in the Car,
while I went in for that One
item. Unfortunately, while I was getting those, I noticed the
Beefsteak
Tomatoes
right
next to them
and started thinking of Toasted
Sandwiches.
As I was headed for the Cashier,
there were some nice Packaged
Salads
calling my name. It was hard running out of the store with all those
loose items in my hands.
I dropped Kathy off at the front entrance to our building, so she could cool down inside. After parking the Car and heading up the Apartment, I would have to reboot my computer Twice, because It wouldn’t open any of the programs. An Hour later, I was finally able to check The Weather Network to confirm our Humidex to be 100 F (38 C).
After reading the updated Blogs from our Sidebar, I started slicing Vegetables for tonight’s Stir-Fry. It was Three Hours later before we were enjoying our Veggie/Bacon Wraps for supper. There’s enough leftover for more Wraps and Omelettes.
Once the Dishes were all cleaned up, we watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before seeing the “11 o’clock Local News”. A few more warm days are heading our way, before things start to cool down.
