Not Quite As Planned.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The title says it all, and we have all had it happen to us, but just not that often as we did today.

I’ve been having issues with my Computer for quite some time but have learned how to make it bend to my wishes. Last night as I was trying to write the Blog Title on the Template Document, every letter I typed in would open a new document. After the Fifth Failed Attempt, I knew the only way to make it work, was to restart the Computer itself. I’ve ran scans and cleaned Cookies until the Computer was Blue in the face, but it’s getting slow.

Knowing it would take close to Twenty Minutes to restart, I took my Nighttime Medications that are not meant as a Sleep-Aides but may cause Drowsiness. I then did a few other things before spending the next Ten Minutes, copying the Document, pasting it on the Blog, before publishing.

I woke nearly Two Hours later with the Computer still in my lap. It took another Ten Minutes before I got it shut down.

Since I had basically napped in my Recliner, I went straight to Bed, where I tossed and turned for the next Three Hours. I actually slept soundly for Two more hours before forcing myself out of Bed. I refuse to sleep away the day.

I have almost emptied the Crispers in the Fridge, so everything will be fresh when they are refilled.

I had forgotten to reorder one of my Medications, so as soon as we sat at our Computers, I called the Pharmacy. They would have it ready for me today, but they closed at 1:00. After getting a few more things completed, we headed out the door.

It was a good thing it was already feeling like 102 F (39 C), because the Northeast Wind Gusts between the buildings nearly blew us over. The Sun’s Rays did not hesitate to start cooking us as we entered the parking lot.

Since this is the weekend, the Contractors doing the Infrastructure Rerouting was not working, which meant there was no Detour going down Riverside Drive. That also meant we arrived at Health First Pharmacy by 12:30.

Our next stop was Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. This is only the second Saturday, that their Office has been open in the Fourteen Years we’ve been dealing with them. When I opened our Mailbox, there wasn’t a thing inside. Melissa did not recall seeing any Canada Post delivery vehicles in the last Two Weeks.

We had considered going shopping, so we decided to think outside the box by going to Taco Bell for lunch first. We wanted something different, so we chose their Steak Burritos. One thing we did not know was that they come Two different ways. They come Hot or they come HOT. That was a little testing for me, but torture for Kathy.

Kathy has been struggling for a few years with a bad Knee. When it starts to bother her, she wears an Elastic Knee Support. When we returned to the Car, even that wasn’t enough, and she nearly went down. She has never done this before, but she needed to add a Second Support on top of that. She was done walking for the day, so there would be no shopping.

Kathy suggested I drop her off at the Front Door of our building, which she never does. I even remembered to bring in the Vitamins, we purchased on Thursday, after I parked the Car.

We later enjoyed Grilled Olives/Cheese Sandwiches for supper.

We managed to find a couple of “Murder Mysteries” to watch this evening, for entertainment.
