Saving Money and Catching Up.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After an enjoyable night at the Legion watching Melissa, our daughter-in-law belting out the tunes we are all familiar with, it felt good to be home. After having had an improved sleep on Thursday by taking Sleepy-Time Tea I thought I’d try it again, but there was a problem. It was nearly 10:00 when we enjoyed our drink and though I was asleep soon after going to bed, I kept waking to the Songs I’d heard earlier in the evening. I probably walked around the Apartment Seven Times in an attempt to actually sleep. Finally, around 6:00 ZZZZZ.

When it came time for breakfast, I realized we had forgotten to take our evening medications when we got home last night. When we forget those the side effects are the same as those listed in the paragraph above. I made Raspberry Parfaits using the last of our Raspberries and Raspberry Yogurt for breakfast.

Though we got things ready, we really didn’t get too active until after lunch. We enjoyed Veggie Wraps that were filling and healthy.

I had stripped the bed before we had lunch. Afterwards Kathy took the time to have a Snap while I sorted and treated the remaining Laundry.

It was past 2:00 before we made it to the Second Floor Laundry Room. Since this was a Saturday, it was busy with tenants that are still in the workforce. We managed to get half started before other Washers would become available, which was good. We switched the first loads to the Dryers and got our next wash loads started. With the Washers taking 43 Minutes per load and the Dryers allowing 60 Minutes per load, we were back in 45 Minutes. The Dryers will easily hold Two Washer loads and have them dry in 35 Minutes. As we emptied our Dryers, we reloaded them from our Washers. The original cost for the Dryers is $2.25, I then added .75 Cents to each Dryer. Which meant Six Loads of washing were dried for $6.00 or a Dollar per load.

It was just after 5:00 before we had everything put away in the Apartment. We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for supper. Since Kathy likes Ice Cream so much, I waited a bit before making Chocolate Banana Sundaes with Marichino Cherries and Chocolate Syrup for dessert. No Snacks needed tonight.

We spent the evening getting caught up on the reading Blogs we missed out on yesterday.
