More Packing, Lots Of Rain and Going To A Party.

Even though we had left the Blue Flame Heater on low last night it was still chilly this morning even with the Heater still functioning. We were both up once again by 8:00 this morning again looking forward to a Lite-Breakfast but when I tried lighting the Burner on the Stove it would not ignite. I remembered how we used to do it with the old Coleman Camp Stoves by using Butane Lighter. That way the Stove lit immediately. Judging from the moisture on our windows there was probably too much moisture in the Burners for the Igniter to work.
Knowing we were supposed to get Rain in our area I checked the Radar to see a Massive Storm System heading right for us. Wanting to get more packing done outside I bundled up against the Cold Wind and headed outside. I had just finished loading the back of the Truck with the Generator when Kathy called out that Tim was on his way to take down the Gazebo.

With our moving into the apartment there is no need for a Gazebo so we sold it to Tim who will be moving on to our Site next season. It didn’t take long to remove the Screens, Solar Lights and finally the Roof. The Framework will easily withstand the Winter. Tim had barely left when a Lite-Rain started coming down.
It was lunchtime and since we’ll be attending a Halloween Party this evening we kept Lunch Lite. Kathy made an Asian Style Salad using Baby Spinach with Feta Cheese and the last of the Chicken she cooked on Tuesday. We topped it off with Blackberry covered Yogurt for our dessert.

Once we were satisfied we worked together to create our Ambrosia Salad as part of our contribution for the party. It always seems to be a hit because we seldom have any of it left to bring Home.

It was after 2:30 by the time we cleaned up all the Dishes and finally got back to our Computers. The Radar showed the storm intensifying and it was right on the money. Just after I finished draining our Waste Tanks round 4:30 the Rain started falling hard enough we could barely hear one another inside the Trailer.

Since I started working we seem to be tired much too early in the evening so I’ll let you know how the Halloween Party turned out tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. That's too bad that you are giving away your gazebo and shed. I presume you'll be storing your 5th wheel elsewhere during the summer. Hope something comes up work wise for you so you can resume building up your travel kitty.
