First
an apology for not writing last night. After posting our Blog
on Wednesday the only way I could find any relief from the Back
Pain I was experiencing was to take not One
but Two Extra Strength Tylenol. I do not recall straining
myself but believe that it is my body’s way of making me pay for
coming out of Retirement.
It
was a busy day at Work on
Thursday and really felt good to be back
Home. More Tylenol were consumed in order to help
me move. After my shower Kathy served us a Single Portion Lasagna
that we shared along with our Caesars Salad and Clementine
Oranges with a Nanaimo Bar for dessert. Kathy occasionally
tries some Prepackaged Meals so if we are in a hurry we can
can use them. If we don’t like them they will never come back into
our lives. She has figured out that she can’t make Lasagna
from scratch for what they charge. Also by sharing a Single
Portion instead of a large pan we won’t put on too much weight
and there are no leftovers.
It
was Thursday and we headed out to Amherstburg
to visit our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa for our weekly
visit. Sometimes things come up so we visit when we can. It was a
very pleasant visit as it always is filled with frank discussion and
many times laughter.
We
had to leave early because we needed to do some shopping. We first
went to Shoppers Drug Mart to
restock some over the counter items One of which happened to
be the Extra Strength Tylenol. Then we went next door to the
No Frills to get a few groceries
and some supplies for our contribution to our Merry
Thanksmas Celebration this weekend. Surprisingly they
didn’t have One of the necessary ingredients so we also had
to go to Sobeys who had them but
at a higher price. By the time we got Home
and unloaded the Car my Back Pain was too much for me
to concentrate.
That's the Moon in the upper right corner not a light. |
Even
with a lot of Fine Tuning I had a very productive day today at
Work. I managed to get all the
Mechanisms welded together and ready for the paint shop. The
fact that it was raining outside really made it feel cool even
inside.
Told you it was the Moon. |
Getting
Home shortly after 4:00 I was
told we had an appointment to check out something that Kathy had
found on Facebook Marketplace. A
warm shower seemed to do the trick. Our neighbour Tim stopped by for
a moment to change a visit time to next weekend instead of this
Holiday Weekend we were now into.
We
were soon on our way headed towards Oldcastle.
Again Kathy managed to find a great bargain that would have cost
about Six Times as much if we had gone to the stores. It’s a
good thing our Back Seat folds down giving us plenty of space.

It
was past 5:30 so we stopped at the Hi-Ho/Michigan
Diner to have supper. With it being Friday we had our Fish
and Onion Rings instead of Fries. Even with the smaller
portion from the Seniors Menu we were both feeling stuffed.
We
needed some Garbage Bags so we found them at Canadian
Tire.
We
stopped at our daughter Karen’s in Tecumseh
to drop something off for her and to confirm the family celebration
for tomorrow.
With
future plans for Home Improvements we stopped at Home
Depot to get some ideas. That’s where I get most of my
materials.
By
the time we got Home my
Recliner and an Extra Strength Tylenol were calling my
name. Good thing I have an appointment with our Family Doctor
on Tuesday.

So sorry for your pain, hopefully these three days off will be helpful. I now know that my initial guess as to the mystery was incorrect but I have no other idea at the moment. Hints please :)
