If you had the chance to read our Follow Up Blog from this morning you will better understand why we didn’t post a full Blog last night.

Waking up this morning I was amazed how good I felt after the Sleep Disorder Clinic set my CPAP Machine to the higher pressure. For anyone who doesn’t have Sleep Apnea they can’t imagine how lack of sleep affects your body’s ability to recharge itself while you sleep.

I was up before 8:00 this morning and had read the most recent Blogs posted on our Sidebar before starting to write yesterday’s Follow Up Post. It wasn’t until I noticed some Golfers on the Tenth Hole that I looked at the time. I knew that Kathy hadn’t meant to sleep that late so I opened the Window Shades in the Bedroom to wake her.

After each having a Muffin with Two Coffees we settled in at the Computers. We discussed a few things that we would like to do besides sitting inside a very cold trailer that was being shook from the High Wind Gusts.
It was around 12:30 that we had Italian Wedding Soup for lunch topped off with a Yogurt Cup for our dessert. Notice that we are barely eating after yesterday’s Merry Thanksmas Family Celebration.
Not knowing what could suddenly pop up in the next couple of weeks we decided to get some errands out of the way. Our first stop was the Ciociaro Club in Windsor where the Advanced Election Polls were open. It gives one a sense of security when you are handed a Paper Ballot that you take behind a screen to mark your X before placing it in a Sealed Cardboard Box that will not be opened until after the polls close on Election Day. No electronic meddling from foreign countries.

The next stop was Home Depot to return the Three Gallon Pail that I was going to use to dye my Pink Coveralls back to Blue. After watching an On-Line Demonstration of how it is done the Pail would definitely be too small.

We stopped at Guardian Storage where we went back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. Being in the rush we were last night we didn’t think to look in some of our Bins to find clothes that we may soon be needing. Luckily when we packed those Bins Kathy had attached Labels on each one telling us what was in it. By reading the Labels we didn’t have to dig through anything but the Bins that contained what we were looking for.
Lucky for us when we spent our first winter at La Posa South LTVA near Quartzsite Arizona we had purchased an additional Propane Tank. When the One Tank was emptied a month ago I added the Spare. When the Second Tank went empty last night I was able to get the Third Tank to take its place. We stopped at Canadian Tire this afternoon and had them both filled. In Canada you are charged according to the size of the container so you make certain they are Empty. At RV Pitstop in Quartzsite you are charged according to the amount of Propane it takes to fill the Tanks. What it cost to fill each Tank today was what it cost to fill Two in Quartzsite.
We stopped at McDonald’s to use their washrooms and to have an Ice Cream Cone to tide us over until supper.
Across the street we went to Giant Tiger looking for one thing but walking out with new slippers for myself instead.
At Home the Wind was still jolting the Trailer and since we’d had a snack it wasn’t until nearly 7:00 that we ate supper. Kathy tried another processed food that we really liked. It was Beef Brisket from Lou’s Kitchen and like their Pulled Pork it was tasty without being too spicy. We find the single serving package feeds us both for a couple of meals.
Tomorrow we have another celebration to attend so we’ll tell you about it then. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. Out here at Costco or the local Co-op they fill by the litre, but the rest are still doing the flat rate deal.

  3. Too bad they fill the propane bottles that way, I can see how that definitely would be more expensive!

  4. We have to watch where we get our propane filled down here too as some just charge you for the cylinder size and not what they actually put in.
