I was nearly done welding the Second Tailgate at Work this morning when they finally brought the Second Aluminium Project over for me to modify because the Customer was going to pick it up by noon today. Within Ten Minutes I had installed the Load Netting and started welding the Deflector Plates before the first break. When I started adding the Deflector Plates on the Coal Door the Owner started to change his mind about adding them. I simply explained that if we didn’t add them the Customer would soon be back with a Twisted Tailgate expecting us to repair it under Warranty. He gave me the go ahead to install them. The unit was delivered to Shipping and Receiving before 10:00.

By the end of the shift I had modified the Second Aluminium Project, welded Two Tailgates and had Ninety Percent of One Body completely welded only because I ran out of Argon and had to replace the Cylinder. It felt disappointing when I was leaving at the end of the shift because the Customer decided to wait until tomorrow to take delivery.

Kathy had the Water Heater going and my warm shower felt wonderful. We were out the door by 4:30 heading back to Windsor.

We arrived with Five Minutes to spare at Fantastic Sam’s for our Haircuts. Jenna said she was surprised how slow it was as she started cutting Kathy’s hair first. Then a few more customers started coming in. By the time we were both finished the place was packed and it looked like Jenna would be having a late break.

We splurged and ate supper at A&W tonight. It has been months since we ate there and since they don’t have a Value Menu we weren’t surprised at the price. It was tasty but a little more filling than I preferred.

We drove over to the West End where Kathy had found another item on the Facebook Marketplace. It was not only unbelievable how solid this Unit was built but how heavy it was. Diane’s Son helped me to load it on the Truck where I strapped it down.
Can you see the Truck's lights in the Security Monitor.
We headed over to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit at Guardian Storage. Kathy helped me lower it off the back of the Truck and she was having a hard time just to lower it without casing any damage. We needed to make room inside our Unit so we gathered the Merry Thanksmas Gifts that we’ll need on Saturday and brought them Home. On our way out we finally stopped to collect our Mail.
Since we’ve gotten to bed late the last few nights I think we’ll be making up for it tonight. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
