Things Are Working Out, Vital Aire Communication Problems and Loosing Judy Bell.

Even after a slow start to my morning I still managed to be at Work before anyone else. The day progressed quite nicely besides making the Framework for the next project I was asked to repair a Roll-Up Cover. The reason being that I had been frank about living in our RV so they figured it would work the same as an Awning with a spring load. The only problem I had was someone had already cut the mesh which totally released the Spring Tension.

Before the day was over an Electrical Contractor came around to see where he would be installing the new plugs for the Welding Machines so the long Extension Cord could be put to rest.

On Saturday when we left the Windsor Sleep Disorder Clinic they had promised us they would FAX the Prescriptions for our new CPAP Machines over to Vital Aire. When Kathy called Vital Aire today to verify they had received the FAX the person on the line was abrupt saying they didn’t know and hung up on her. She tried again later not even able to connect.

When I got Home from Work I called and Shelley answered. When I explained how Kathy had been treated she apologized before finding not One but Two FAXes for each of us. Unfortunately to get these things set up we need an appointment and the soonest they can do that is after Labour Day.

These are thick Salmon Patties

For supper Kathy made a wonderful Southwest Flavoured Salad to go with the Salmon Patties she made the other day. It tasted great even though Kathy said it was just Leftovers.

Taking a Shower truly made me feel alive. Kathy had me chop up a Pineapple we had so she could serve it for desserts. It was sweet and perfectly ripened.

I then headed outside to dump our Waste Tanks. Even though we have a Full Service Site I still flush our Black Tank the same as when we are in the desert. Hard to believe that by back-flushing it using the Grey Water how much more Waste comes out of that Tank.

When I came back inside Kathy was finishing doing up the Dishes before going for her Shower.

When we finally got on the Computers we were saddened to read about the Passing of Judy Bell from the Blog “Travels with Emma”. We had followed her Blog since early 2008 and were amazed at her knowledge of Birds. The next thing we knew others would lovingly refer to Judy as The Bird Lady of Blog land. We were finally able to meet Judy last winter at her site at Jojoba Hills Escapee’s RV Park. We are glad that we had the chance to visit with such a special person.

Kathy has an appointment tomorrow so with a little coaching this evening I am hoping she has no problems. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
