When you are Retired often times the word Work is kiddingly referred to as a Four Letter Word but when you return to that world it is a reality you learn to live with.

Unlike the Large Unionized Shops where your job is highly defined most of the Smaller Shops are not like that. I worked many of those in the past but today things have changed. Gone are the days of Break-Presses that were driven by Large Fly-Wheels and you had to reset for every piece. Today with Hydraulics and Computers what would have taken a Day to create years ago now is done in Twenty Minutes. Fabricating has nearly become a production job. It wasn’t until after lunch that I returned to the job I was hired to do.

Kathy had been busy doing On-Line Banking, Cooking, Changing the Bed Linens and Cleaning inside the Trailer. She also shut the AC off and had all the Windows and Vents open. When I arrived Home it felt wonderful to breathe Fresh Air without the sound of the Air Conditioner.
This guy was eating plants in our front garden.
After a brief rest we drove over to the Park Exchange Library. Kathy had over Two Dozen Books to exchange but there were a lot of new books for her to choose from. While she did that I walked over to the Park Trash and Recycle Area to get rid of our waste. I returned just as she was finishing up.

Once I loaded the car Kathy drove back Home while I went to the Park Exercise Room. It has been a couple of weeks since the last time and I was hurting. Forty Minutes later I was feeling much better and on a positive note I’ve now lost Thirteen Pounds just since I returned to Work.
For supper Kathy had cooked a Pork Roast and some Potatoes in the Crock Pot. After adding Salsa and Shredded Cheese to the Potatoes everything tasted wonderful. She even made a Cherry Pie for us to enjoy.
Just cooler air.
This evening we watched the True Life movie “Lone Survivor” starring a very young Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Emile Hirsch and Eric Bana as a group of Navy Seals on an ill fated mission to neutralize a top Al Qaeda Leader. Watching the Bonus Features after the movie you really get to know who the actual Navy Seals that were depicted in the movie. We gave it a Ten.

Kathy will be having Surgery on her hand tomorrow but she is confident that she’ll be able to drive herself there and back. My Work Number is in her Cell Phone in case she needs help. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
