I waited until just after 8:00 this morning to make a Phone Call. Still searching for that one Item that I really needed I figured this was easier then driving all over town looking for it. After spending Twenty Minutes on Hold there was another Five Minutes discussing the Item before I was again left empty handed. Fuel and Time saved
The Gnome accidentally dumped his Wheelbarrow
near the Flower Fairy.
I just needed to wait for Kathy before having breakfast. She was feeling much better this morning. She didn’t have the bloated effect the Flu had given her just yesterday. We talked about what I was looking for and realized we may have to change our plans.
The Harmony Fairy playing her Flute.
The sky was clear but the temperatures were moderate so we spent more time on the Computers doing research.
When it was nearly noon we worked together to create lunch. Kathy gathered the ingredients while I manned the Cutting Board. When all the Onions, Ham, and Salad were finely chopped Kathy mixed them up into a Wrap while I cleaned a Pear to share for dessert. Kathy added Yogurt Cups but we were feeling quite satisfied with the lighter meal so put them back in the Fridge.
My better side working on our Bistro Table.
One of the last things I needed to accomplish for cleaning up our Site this year was to paint our smaller sized Bistro Set. After covering our Picnic Table with the Plastic Tarp I removed the legs from the Table. After Ten Years the Powder Coating Finish was starting to show signs of Rust. It was a matter of sanding the entire set before wiping it down and starting to repaint the entire set.
Painting the Chair.
The temperature was feeling more like the Lower Eighties so everything dried quite quickly. Kathy had joined me for a short while in the shade of the Gazebo. Since she started her different Medication Dosages yesterday she was already starting to feel slightly better. After a quick little break I reassembled the Bistro Table and put it back on the Patio where it belonged.
For supper Kathy cooked a couple of personal sized Tourtieres in the Microwave. We have tried these before and really liked them because they are Frozen when you buy them they only have a Lite Pie Crust and Ground Beef inside. No Preservatives or other Chemicals. We also had a piece of Date Square which is actually quite healthy for us.
Flowers on our Toadstool.
Since we had eaten early enough we decided to check our E-Mail before heading out on our weekly visit with Kevin and Melissa. It was a good thing we did that because they lost a close friend and were going out to pay their respects.
This Chipmunk Dashed through our Site and stopped by our Neighbour.
That changed our plans for the second time today so we sat down to watch the movie “Dad’s Army” starring Bill Nighy, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Toby Jones. This is a Comedy set in England just prior to D-Day. We both thought it was cute without a lot of Special Effects or Foul Language giving it a Six out of Ten.
Started clouding up after supper.
After having a couple of nice days we are going back to early Spring type weather through the weekend. It is presently Raining with Gusty Winds up to 23 MPH and it is feeling Cold. More plans to change so we’ll find something to do tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Wow a full day at home without having to go out and do errands. Hopefully all that relaxation will have Kathy feeling better. Be sure to take a photo of the newly painted bistro set for us.

  3. Glad you were able to resolve things without having to head into town. I like the flowers on the toad stool. When you travel do you take them with you?

Sometimes I worry about you guys eating too little.
