I was a little surprised how early that I was wide awake and getting out of bed this morning. Before I even had time to get things ready for breakfast Kathy was joining me downstairs. The answer to the mystery was quite simple. It wasn’t Raining. A new phenomena to say the least especially since we live further southwest in Ontario then most of the other RV Bloggers we read yet we have been getting more Clouds, Lower Temperatures, Rain and Wind then they have and we are supposed to be known as Canada’s Florida. That is a laugh. We had similar Weather this past winter in Quartzsite and they were setting records.

After having a Muffin for breakfast we took our Two Cup Refreshments over to the Computers. I was surprised to find a number of Spam posted in the Comment Section for last night’s Blog. Knowing that we are not alone in this I have to bring up the proper way to get rid of them. Many just Delete them but you are only going to cause more of them to appear. What you need to do is to move them to the Spam Folder so the Filter will start recognizing them for what they are. When that happens they will no longer appear in the Comment Section of your Blog.
The Fairy Garden got changed a bit.
The safest place to move those to the Spam Folder is from inside the Design area. There you will see all the latest Comments including all the Spam. The reason for checking it there is because many times the Spammers will attach their Trash to older posts that are Days, Weeks, Months or even Years old. If you just leave them be to up your Comment Count you will open a gateway of Spam to your Blog. It is also wise to check the Spam Section of your Blog or E-Mails periodically because sometimes the Filters will remove Legitimate Comments or Messages.
For lunch we simply had a Garden Salad with an Apple Sauce Cup and a couple of Cookies for dessert.

I’m still researching the Item that we’ve been looking for. After finding what I thought was a promising lead I actually tried ordering it On-Line only to receive the message that I was not authorized to use the Site. ??? Talk about frustrating.

I spent a short time removing and cleaning the License Plate Shields on the Truck while also installing our new License Sticker. Hard to believe how much debris gets between those things.

We never did see the Sun because of all the Clouds but there was also hardly any breeze at all. That was the perfect combination for us to go for a Bike Ride around the entire Park. At least nobody said that Kathy wasn’t pedalling instead One asked Kathy if her name was Daisy. Even with the 70 F (21 C) temperature with all the Rain we’ve had the last few days the Humidity was nearly 90% this afternoon.
After getting getting cooled down we headed over to the Park Clubhouse. Today they were having Hamburger Night. When they started this a couple years ago you got a Hamburger, a bag of Potato Chips and a can of Pop. Today all we got was the Hamburger with Condiments. The profits help the Seasonal RVers purchase things that can be used by everyone here.

When we got Home we watched a Comedy Spy Spoof called “Keeping Up With The Joneses”. There was actually lots of action in a hilarious way when a couple of agents working a case move into a quiet neighbourhood. We gave it a Six out of Ten.

Since we are expecting Two more days with no Rain before it returns for another Week we plan on doing something different. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. I am not tech savvy so the way I deal with spam is different from yours.

I put limit on commenting on my blog of anywhere from three to seven days. That way if someone comes along after that time period (like a lot of spammers) their comment goes into moderation and is never posted to my blog.

There I have the option to mark it as Spam or delete it.

  3. We are in Lebanon County PA (near Hershey) visiting daughter. Just heard on TV that 2018 was the 2nd wettest year on record here. And this year is ahead of last year. Has rained every day and expected to continue the rest of week. So is it coming down from Ontario or moving up to Ontario.

  5. That's how I get rid of spam. It's a pain to be sure.

  6. Fortunately 99.9% of spam on my Apple computer is detected and immediately put in a spam file that I go through and delete. But the majority are attached to older post, two or three in particular.
