Long Day Report, Fellow Bloggers Lose Their Pet and The Heat Has Arrived.

Our Location today is at Wildwood Golf and RV Park, McGregor, Ontario.

Wednesday morning we only had enough time to quickly look at our Computers before heading out the door shortly after 10:00 to go to Windsor
Our first stop was Fantastic Sam’s to get our Haircuts. It seems the warmer weather makes one’s Hair grow faster so we needed a quick trim. Even with the Three Hairstylists going non-stop the place was constantly packed because others were having the same issues. We were fortunate that we had appointments with Jenna who keeps our hair looking proper and has the daunting task of straightening it up every year when we return from the US.
From there we stopped at Vital Aire to see if our Back-Ordered Stock had arrived. It’s been over Six Weeks and there’s no sign of it yet ???? We might have to look for a new supplier.
Next we stopped at Guardian Storage to get our lone piece of Mail.
Since it was nearly 1:00 by this time we stopped at Wendy’s where we ordered off the Value Menu. We had Two Chicken Wraps, Two Small Chocolate Frosties to cool us down and Two Senior’s Soft Drinks all for the total price of $7.19 and it left us both satisfied.
We headed back out to Wildwood Golf and RV Park in McGregor where the place was packed with Golfers everywhere. We had to use our Ceiling Vent Fans to help cool the Trailer down. We both took showers to cool down and to wash away any loose Hair Clippings.
Day Lillies are starting to blossom in our garden.
We accomplished additional Computer reading before once again heading back towards Windsor. Since we are trying to avoid using the AC in the Trailer as much as we can and it was Too Hot to cook inside the Trailer we decided to again eat out.
We chose to eat at the Wendy’s location that was much closer to our destination so we headed to the Pic wik Shopping Center. We had a big surprise when we arrived to find most of the Parking Lot torn up with Heavy Equipment and Dump Trucks parked all over the place. When we saw people entering the building behind a Safety Fence we also found our way inside. According to the shift Manager the work started on Monday and will be completed by Friday afternoon. We had the same as we had for lunch.

We arrived to the pandemonium of the W.F.C.U (Windsor Family Credit Union) Arena by 6:00. There was no game on this evening but Graduation Ceremonies for Saint Anne’s High School Students. We finally met up with Karen, Greg, Denise and Peter before heading inside the Arena to sit together and await the arrival of our granddaughter Kylla.
The Ceremonies began at exactly 7:00 when all 209 Graduating Students were lead out by their Principle and Teachers. It was nearly 8:00 before they started giving out the Diplomas and Awards for special achievements. One thing this School is known for is making certain that their Students know their work. To be on their Honour Roll you must have a Grade Average of 80% or better. Over 150 of all those students were on the Honour Roll for the Class of 2019 and our grandson Tyler was one of those.
Tyler is in the group on the Left.
There's Tyler.
Using the Canon DSLR with the Sigma 18-200 Zoom Lens was the best choice for this occasion. It allowed me to zoom in on the stage and afterwards to get special pictures up close and personal.
Principle addressing the Graduates.
Valedictorian addressing graduates. 98.3% Grade Average
throughout High School.
When the Main Ceremony was over Tyler was one of the first to hand in his Cap and Gown. I later found out that he had worked all day in this hot weather so he was in no mood for being all spiffy after that long day.
Sanford getting a treat from Kathy.
We headed over to Karen and Greg’s house where Sanford thought that everyone was coming to see him. The first thing he did was to bring out his newest toy to show everyone.
Tyler just got his Diploma from the Principle.
Tyler appreciated all the Gifts that he received. We then enjoyed a piece of Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream and a cup of Tea before the party started to break up. Tyler had to go to work this morning. Denise and Peter had a Three Hour Drive before they would get home.
Graduation Caps fill the air.
It was nearly 11:00 when we arrived Home and with over a Hundred Pictures to edit I was just too tired to post them last night.
(L-R) Karen, Tyler and Greg.
The only Blog I read last night was Chillin With Patsy where the Title suggested something was Seriously Wrong. It was and near the end it said how she and Bill lost their beloved 14 year old Clemson. He was a cute little guy and we even had the chance to pet him a few times. We express our deepest condolences on their loss. We both know the Heartbreak involved in loosing our Fur Friends that we have had in the past. When we chose to go Fulltime decided it was better to enjoy other people’s pets.

Even with all the Windows and Roof Vents left open with no breeze moving the air last night the 68 F (20 C) felt much warmer. We both slept until after 8:00 this morning.
Even with the warmer temperatures the most satisfying thing we could think of for lunch was Minestrone Soup. From all the years in the Casting Industry I learned that having Hot Drinks or Meals during this type of heat is healthier for your body. Kathy disagreed because she starts to sweat when she eats an Ice Cream Cone in the Winter but she ate most of it.

I took the Truck over to the Park Trash and Recycle Area to clean out the back before heading out of the Park itself. Heading for Windsor I once again stopped at one of the places in Oldcastle that I have looked before. It still amazes me that Their Website says they have what we need but when I’m there in person they say they don’t have any.
Proud mom Karen, Tyler and Smiling sister Kylla.
From there I headed to LaSalle to a new location. Looking for the same thing they didn’t have it either. The worst part was the Parking Lot was on One Side of the building and the Entrance was a Thousand Feet to the other side of the building on this Hot Sunny Day.
Tired Tyler opening his gifts.
Heading through LaSalle I was amazed to see Transit Windsor Buses travelling all over. When I told Kathy about that when I got Home she could not believe it. She did a lot of walking in her growing years because the Bus stopped Five Miles from where she lived.
Yummy Cake.
I spent the remainder of the afternoon making a few more appointments and researching outside of our immediate area in search of what we need.
Notice 38% humidity.
Today our Humidex was only 95 F (35 C). As in the past on many of these days it is not because of the High Humidity level we have that makes it so warm. On these days the Humidity level drops below the 50% level. Our forecast for the near future is showing many of these High Humidex Days above the Century Mark heading our way.
I grilled a store bought Parisian Thin Crust Pizza on our Weber Q for our supper. It kept things cooler in the Trailer
Tomorrow we’ll try getting a few more things completed before it gets Too Hot. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
