Just
to clarify that after only writing a low number of our Blogs
directly through Blogger and loosing few I started writing it
on Microsoft Word then Copying
and Pasting it to Blogger. Once the pictures are
uploaded then I simply Publish it, then View the Blog
to verify that it posted before returning and cleaning the document
to use the following day. Since my Computer was repaired last
year it has been using Libre Office Writer.
That was the one that lost last evening’s post.
By
the time I got to bed last night Kathy was already asleep. She
naturally needs more sleep then I do especially with all the miles
we’ve been racking up. This however does not stop her from feeling
guilty about leaving me to close up by myself.
When
7:00 rolled around I was up and putting the Computers away.
Kathy managed to be up before I started to pack away my CPAP
Machine this morning. We were inside Cracker
Barrel having breakfast before 8:00 and Lynet made certain
we were well taken care of even making certain we had Coffees
to go.
With
Three Quarters of a tank of Fuel we didn’t bother
trying to fill up before getting back onto
I-70. Kathy commented that she had never seen so many Semi
Trucks on the road as she had the last week. With a Heavy
Cloud Cover and little Wind that remained the
entire day it was perfect for travelling.
Traffic Backup on Southbound I-75. |
We
knew that Indianapolis was nearly
Ninety Miles away and we didn’t want to stop in the middle
of it. Along with the morning Coffee that had to go we also
stopped at a Love’s to top off
our Diesel while getting ourselves comfortable.
We
managed to roll right through the Brickyard
without a single slowdown or mishap and the next thing we
knew we were entering the state of Ohio.
We travelled a little while longer until just after noon we spotted a
Denny’s at a Flying
J. The parking area was huge allowing close to Thirty
RVs to park separate from the Semis. We both enjoyed a
different Chicken dinner that was just enough to satisfy our
cravings.
Back
on I-70 heading towards Dayton
there seemed to be even more Semis on the road then before.
Finally we swung around the ramp and were soon rolling north on I-75.
The next Hour flew by. We were soon taking Exit
111 to the Wapakoneta KOA.
We’ve
been here many times but not the last Two Years. John the
owner was busy guiding someone to their Site but when he saw
us and he started waving right away. After registering he brought us
to our Site and talked for a while until he had to go guide
another guest in. He and his Wife have done a lot of Upgrades
to this Park making certain that everyone’s stay is a
pleasant one.
For
supper we simply had a Snack to tide us over until breakfast.
Our Supper was Leftover Pineapple on Yogurt and a Fruit Pie. |
Having
Full
Hook Ups
we both enjoyed nice showers that were far different then those we
take when “Off
the Grid”.
We have been driving long hours lately to avoid some nasty storms in
the south.
Today we drove 239.5
Miles with
One
More Day
to being back in Ontario.
Guess what is waiting for us when we get there? Some Nasty
Weather
that hopefully will not be as bad as what the middle states are
getting. Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

I'm glad you started using Word for your document and pasting to Blogger. We were sure we'd mentioned that option to you a while ago when you were having difficulty. However, your font is still really tiny.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice travel day and arrived at the KOA. Nice to get a welcome greeting even when he is busy.
There isn't snow here and what comes now won't last. Some cold days ahead but we take it with a grain of salt and adjust. Safe travels!
