Planning and Cooking.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

As expected yesterday because of all the fresh air we had when we went to pick up the trailer at General RV in White Lake, Michigan we did in deed sleep like rocks last night. The only problem was we slept so soundly that we were both awake by 7:00 this morning and had finished eating breakfast and were at the computers within an hour.
Once she had finished her reading Kathy planned to make today a cooking and baking day to make certain nothing from the fridge would go bad. I called our son Kevin to adjust the time for our plans to clean his gutters for tomorrow. We couldn’t do them last week when I cleaned his chimney flues because the leaves were all frozen and couldn’t be removed. I also informed him that I’d be taking the last of the trailer stuff that had been stored in his garage before the trailer had been brought in for repairs two months ago.

For the last two weeks every morning I have been waking with hearing loss in my right ear that with a little time would clear but return the following day. Since we didn’t have anything scheduled for today I decided to go to the walk-in clinic. By taking care of the problem now we won’t have to worry about it recurring while we’re away. I had basically self-diagnosed the problem as wax build up making it so that I was leaving the clinic less than an hour after I had arrived.

Once I was finished at the clinic I ran couple of errands Kathy had given me to do before going home as well. I made a quick stop at the Credit Union before going to Zehr’s grocery store for some milk.

After parking the car I retrieved the mail before going up to the apartment where Kathy was just about to serve a beautiful Quiche that she had just made. It was delicious and it was topped off by a homemade Berry Crumble a la mode. The best part is there is more left for another meal.

I spent the rest of the afternoon printing some special photos for our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa before Kathy served another wonderful meal she had started cooking this morning. We enjoyed a pork roast with potatoes and carrots on the side and again there is still more for future meals.

Tomorrow will be a busy day of chores and visiting. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. OK wait. There's something wrong with that second picture. How come the young guy is *holding the ladder* and the not so young guy is *up the ladder*?
