I slept slightly better last night still waking periodically but able to roll over and go back to sleep. Kathy on the other hand kept waking and listening if she could hear any thunder outside. When we did wake we were in no hurry to jump out of bed and start rushing around. Not only was it still raining but the temperature had dropped near the 50 F (10 C) mark.
Watching the weather channel as we ate breakfast we were noting how the seasons are changing. That even though we were cooler than normal in our region for this time of year we didn’t have the severe weather that was being experienced in other parts of the world.
By noon the rain had stopped and we opened the windows. The temp stayed around 61 F (16 C) until supper time when it started cooling quickly with the return of the rain.
Kathy spent the afternoon researching places to go and things to see for future trips. Myself I had been slack on updating some of my files. By supper time I had only completed one of those files with three more to complete.
This evening was spent reading blogs we follow. More and more people are starting to realize that it is getting closer to Christmas. Yes it is only 100 days away and suddenly people are talking about getting ready for it. There is Halloween and Thanksgiving in between but some are actually starting to panic about Christmas Day.
That is why Kathy and I have been slowly buying gifts and wrapping them so we can do it at a relaxed and well thought out pace. It is also easier on the budget because it allows for us to have it all paid for before the big day.
Tomorrow always brings new things to do and sometimes new adventures so feel free to following along. Be Safe and Enjoy!
