Busy Visiting Day

Our Location Today is London, Ontario, Canada.

Yesterday morning we were both well rested after spending our first night sleeping in the trailer. We took our time getting started by having a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards I called my sister Anna to confirm our arrival time for an afternoon visit. Once I had talked with her Kathy and I both attempted to go on-line to check the blogs we always follow.

With the dishes washed and put away we headed off across London for our visit. It was our usual pleasant visit where there was a lot of catching up on both sides of the family. Of course when Anna mentioned that she could not get her second printer to work on her computer I just had to take a look. Of course it was just a matter of getting a longer USB cable to replace the old printer multi-pin cable.

We headed over to Swiss Chalet for supper and continued our conversation. Leaving there we went across the street to the local PC shop where they had what was needed to fix the problem with the printer. From there we headed back to the trailer where the conversation continued until past 9:00 and we knew it was time to bring Anna back home and set up her computer.

Fixing the computer with the printer turned into a challenge. After connecting all the cables and loading the appropriate driver program the printer wouldn’t work. Being that this system was Windows 7 there were differences in the set-up than the older XP programs. Finally after several unsuccessful attempts to get it to work we rebooted the computer. Voila everything started working the way it was supposed to. After an enjoyable visit we said good night.

By the time we got back to the trailer it was nearly midnight and when we tried to go on-line and could not get a connection we knew it was time for bed after a frustrating day with computers. Sorry there were no pictures taken yesterday.

Today we are heading over to visit with my aunt Anna and uncle Bob after lunch so we’ll try to get caught up and work on our computer issues.

It is now only110 days until Christmas. Time does fly when you are having fun. Thanks for following our adventures. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

A boat carrying red paint and a boat carrying

blue paint crashed into each other.

Apparently the crews were marooned.
