We chose to wait until Tuesday to leave so that most of the campgrounds and roadways would be void of Weekend Warriors who would be in a hurry to get home. Many times those are the cars that you see pulled over for the improper handling of vehicles by the police or the ones piled up in fatalities.
There only seems to be one problem with our plan as I mentioned the other day. The leftover rainstorms brought on by Isaac are slated to begin tonight until Wednesday. We have all been there before and nobody likes to drive their rigs in this weather let alone having to set up in it. We’ll just take our time and hope the weather gives us a break.

When I returned my washer had not finished but all the dryers were in use. After waiting another thirty minutes a man and his son show up and started emptying all the dryers. That just looked like another form of selfless thinking and not caring if anyone else needed to dry any clothes.
It’s about time.
