Departure Date.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Thank You all for your Positive Comments on yesterday’s Blog. When I first started this job, we thought by working Fulltime for a Few Years would help us reach our goal sooner. Instead it has brought us both heartache as well as other Health Issues. After the problems started showing up we re-examined my departure date that was set just before our Birthdays, next year. Now that the hours are starting to affect us emotionally I’ll be leaving the Friday before Christmas.

For Years I was a Certified Welder by the province Ontario. I welded everything from Aluminum, Stainless Steel, to High Pressure Pipe, Structural Steel, Sheet Metal, Molds and even working at the dry docks welding on Ships. This latest job has even expanded my abilities by mixing Two Processes into One. After Fifteen Months at Windsor Feedscrew the Plasma Transfer Arc still frustrates me, when it changes its numbers as you are watching the Control Screen. Another problem is when one day you can weld Identical Units, where one comes out perfect, but the next one causes you all kinds of grief, that happened today.

Everything we do, be it at work or in our personal lives, there are challenges, and “It’s about time” we deal with our’s, together.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. Without knowing your financial needs, I can still speculate that being together is more important than anything you can buy. Best of luck to both of you.

  4. This is great news.! Thanks for sharing the date with us. Maybe Kathy could join a women's group, take a crafting class, volunteer someplace, or take a little part-time Christmas job to get her out of the house & deal with her loneliness until you can be home with her fulltime. Anyway, thank God the END is in sight. Congratulations.!!!!

  5. After trading my time for money, the time finally became worth more. I've not regrated being fully retired. You can now start planning your net visit to the DSW.
