Tyler’s Negative, Kathy Gets Checked Out and More Rising Numbers.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

With last night’s Post being a little shorter then the previous few nights I managed to get extra Blog Reading in that I normally do in the mornings. With the added help of an Extra Strength Tylenol I managed to fall straight to sleep.

I’ve noticed that every night I look a the Clock at 3:00. Sometimes I’ve just woke up while other times I had been tossing and turning before looking at it. Fortunately after glancing at the time this morning I went back to sleep until 8:00 this morning.

This is yesterday's picture.
The Camera would not focus showing the dark Clouds.

It was unbelievable that the Sun was actually shining through the Blinds while we had breakfast. As soon as we moved over to the Computers the sky simply filled with Clouds.

Karen sent a message to Kathy saying that Tyler’s Covid Test came back Negative along with the diagnoses that he had a severe case of the Flu. Imagine being happy to have the Flu. Only in “2020”.

Keeping things lite we had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with a couple of Maple Cookies and Berry Covered Yogurt for dessert.

Once things were cleaned up we headed out the door. Even though the temperature was above the Freezing Mark the Wind that was rattling through the Balcony Rail was well below.

We managed to arrive at the Jackson Park Health Center with Ten Minutes to spare for Kathy’s Post-Op Follow-Up with the Surgeon. I stayed in the Car while Kathy went inside. Even with Social Distancing and limited seating there were still Fourteen People in the large waiting area there to see the Surgeon. That’s above the Local Health Protocol.

Even though Kathy’s nose is healing nicely it’s not as far along as he wanted it to be. He instructed her on using a Saline Solution that should do the trick and wants to see her in another month.

I was frozen sitting there waiting when Kathy came out to the Car. With more errands to run we cut through our old neighbourhood. When we drove by the House we used to own it looked run down compared to Ten Years ago.

We headed over to Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. We had ordered some Mask Supports over Two Months ago. The problem was they came from the US and even thought our address read Windsor, Ontario, Canada they addressed it Ontario, CA.. Guess where it ended up. It took a couple of E-mails for them to correct the issue. These Supports keep the Mask from resting on your nose making it easier to breath but still giving you full protection. They work great on Manufactured Masks but not on the Homemade Cloth Masks that I constantly wear.

We stopped at the Motor City Community Credit Union to get some Coinage for upcoming Laundry. They are once again limiting the number of people inside. When I spoke to the long-time Teller about it she said if the Numbers continue to climb in our area they will be shut down. I thought Banks were Essential Services.

It was just past 3:30 and we decided to stop at Burger King where we ordered Two Original Chicken Sandwiches for $6.00. We sat in the parking lot while we enjoyed our warm meal.

Back at the Apartment we spent more time on the Computers until it was time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. Like every night for the last week Coronavirus Cases are on the rise but there is good news. England started vaccinating many of its Front-Line Workers and Seniors today.

We did watch a Hallmark Christmas Movie this evening. Since we’d eaten a lite supper we had Popcorn to go with the Movie. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

I’m reading a book on the history of glue and I can’t put it down.

  1. Yes, it is funny to be happy about the flu. Glad Tyler's C test was negative. I can't believe either that the Credit Union would consider closing! That's nuts! Of course, many things are nuts right now.
    Stay well you two.

  3. Our banks have stayed open, but not for walk in. You have to use the drive up. Glad the test came out okay.

  4. We have drive up services and you can make an appointment if you want to get a mortgage or something. Been that way since March. Since Tyler's young I'm sure he'll recover from the flu quickly. Hope the saline helps Kathy.

  5. Glad Tyler's test is negative, it's 'just' the flu.
'In car' dining is making a comeback!

  6. I just realized I haven't been inside a bank since this mess started so I don't know if you can go in. Wells Fargo closed my little branch at the grocery store. Happy about the negative test results!
