Tossing, Seeing The Sun, Last Minute Errands and Happy New Year.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Going to bed before midnight again last night I thought I was on a roll. Instead I was on a toss and turn. Not wanting to take anything that might cause me to oversleep I finally had to go sit at the Computer around 2:00. I got caught up on my On-Line Reading for the next couple of Hours before my eyes started closing.

Kathy was surprised that I’d only been up Fifteen Minutes when she joined me for breakfast. We had barely sat at our Computers when the Sun miraculously broke through the heavy Cloud cover. Just like the other day the Splotches on the Balcony Door blurred the picture.

Again this morning I applied for another job but as soon as you submitted it they wanted you to take an Aptitude Test. The first part was about Safety in the Workplace. The next section they wanted you to find a square that was different then the others. They all contained a Ten Digit Number but as soon as you clicked on the square the entire quiz disappeared. I redid the test from the start only to have the same problem happen. I’ll let them fix their problem.

We had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with Orange Slices, Shortbread Cookies and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

I had Planned (that word) on exercising but we needed a few groceries. Knowing that the stores would probably be closing early today I double checked On-line. After a quick review of the Fridge I was soon heading out the door. With the Multiple Stains of Coronavirus now circulating out there Kathy stayed home so she could remain Safe.

When I arrived at Guardian Storage the Office was still empty. With the Lock-Down the ladies are working from home. Using our Code I was able to retrieve our Mail. It felt good having to wear Sunglasses again.

It was a Ten Minute wait outside before I got in the Dollarama Store. It only took Five Minutes until I was ready to check out.

When I arrived at the Zehr’s grocery store to get a few more things the outside line extended around the corner of the building. Within Twenty Minutes I was inside getting everything on my List. Adding a $2.99 Pizza to the cart I was out of there in Ten Minutes.

Kathy was surprised when I walked in the Apartment at 3:30. As soon as I got back to my Computer was to add today’s purchases to our Expenditure Spreadsheet so that I could close the book on our 2020 Spending.

Vera called and wished us a Happy New Year.

Around 5:30 I cooked up the Medium Thin Crust Store Bought Pizza for supper.

The 6 o’clock Local News only lasted Thirty Minutes tonight. Our total losses in the Windsor/Essex area to the Virus this year is now up to 137. They will be missed by their families and friends.

Again Kathy and I would like to wish everyone a Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year.

We’ll toast in the New Year with our Fake Wine.

Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
