Trailer’s Repaired, Storage Sorting and Records Broken.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

After a middle of the night walk around the Apartment I was able to fall back to sleep fairly easy so when the Clock read 6:00 I simply rolled over for a few more minutes of sleep. It felt good not looking at the Clock again until 8:12 when I finally got up.

The Sun still managed to light up the sky even with the thick black Clouds that started passing by. I had everything ready for breakfast and started opening the programs on my Computer when Kathy joined me.

We discussed what we wanted to do with the day but made certain not to make any Plans. I started my morning chores while Kathy started checking her messages on her Computer. With the Balcony Door open it sometime was a little hard to hear one another over the Twenty-Five MPH Wind Gusts that would grow during the day.

When it came time to have lunch we determined where we would be during the afternoon before deciding to have simply a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup along with a bowl of Mixed Berries for dessert.

We were out the door soon after eating and were pulling in to Guardian Storage by 1:00. The first thing we did was to check our Mail before heading back to the Trailer. Kathy had brought a book to read but because the screw holes for the Shelves would not be in the same locations I needed her help. As she levelled the tops of the Shelves with the side members I was able to refasten them underneath. Luckily we were able have the Bedroom Windows open but there was still no air circulation since I was laying in the bottom of the Cabinet with only a Foot of clearance while worked.

That took a little longer then anticipated but Kathy was happy with the results. Since the Trailer was Winterized last fall then transported to Indiana and back there was no more Antifreeze left in the Traps or the Toilet. By adding more Antifreeze it will stop rising odours from the Waste Tanks and protect the seals in the Toilet.

We then headed off to our Storage Unit. Since I quickly closed up last evening I needed to put the Compressor and Tools back where the belong. We also found a few things we need at the Apartment as well as few things to bring back to the Trailer. We didn’t stay long.

As we were about to return to the Trailer a Semi backed in blocking the lane. By backing up and going around we totally forgot to stop at the Trailer but didn’t realize that until this evening.

For supper Kathy tried a Ready-Made Lasagna with Meat dish in the Microwave taking Ten Minutes to cook. The problem with doing it that way is you have a hard edge around the outside. We might try another in the oven or not.

On the 6 o’clock Local News they talked about the rising number of Coronavirus Cases in our area. They were from University Students that attended Parties in the dorms on Halloween Night ignoring the protocols put in place to protect them. In the last week we have set new Five High Temperature Records but tomorrow we are heading back to seasonal.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring but we’ll figure it out. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Money isn’t everything but it sure keeps you in touch with your children.

  1. I'm sure it feels good to have the trailer finished. The record temps have been phenomenal but we all knew it wouldn't last forever - which actually helps as we slide back to reality. :) Stay well.

  2. Luckily I can just leave water in my drains, but antifreeze just might be better!

  4. Our county had a bit of an uptick, but it seems to be settled down now. It was really warm when we left for shopping this afternoon. I grabbed a jacket on the way out. It was significantly cooler when we got home. High winds here too.

  5. So happy to read that your lives are becoming much less complicated and that things appear to be falling into place. Now if only the plague was gone we might get back to normal. Not sure that we will ever have normal again.
