Decent Weather, More Election Results and Nine Years.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We were both up by 8:30 this morning enjoying the Sunshine that was beaming in through the Balcony Door. After checking The Weather Network and noting it was 50 F (10 C) outside we were able to shut the heat off and crack open the Door for some fresh air.

After getting caught up on our morning reading and chores it was time to put lunch together. Kathy enjoys Baked Beans on Toast then she topped it off with Cookies for dessert.

As soon as the Dishes and Kitchen were cleaned up we headed back to the Computers. When Kathy stumbled across an article that President Trump had declared he had won the Election she immediately turned on the US News Channel to find he had done so without all the votes being counted.

Watching the 6 o’clock Local News we learned of another Coronavirus Case in our area. The result of the US Presidential Election was still unknown. Our temperature reached a high of 68 F (20 C) today and we still have a few more days of Above Seasonal Temperatures.

Kathy made us each a Pancake for supper with her’s having Chocolate Chips.

It wasn’t until after we headed back to the Computers that I realized that it was Nine Years ago this evening that we published our first “It’s about time.” Blog. Kathy had introduced me to RV Blogs and suggested that we should make one. We sold our House in 2011, took our grandsons on a near Month long vacation that included Disney World in Florida. When we returned we upgraded our Fifth Wheel and attended a couple of RV Rallies. It was at the Second Rally that I sat in a seminar put on by Chris and Jim Guld better known as “Geeks on Tour” about how to create a Blog. A little over a month later our first entry was posted. It was supposed to be Kathy that would write it but she insisted that I did it.

It has always been a work in progress meant to keep our kids informed about our travels instead it became a daily ledger of our lives. Some of the pages I created never reached their full potential mainly because we are too busy. That’s right we are Retired but by the time we finish the day and write the Blog there is little time for anything else. Maybe the next time we’re back on the road.

By writing our Blog not only have I learned to improve my Typing Skills slightly but we have made Friends with a number of like minded individuals. Like many other RV Bloggers having to hunker down due to the Coronavirus has really cut back on our adventures as well as fresh material for us to present. All we can do is hang in there until all this improves so we can once again say “It’s about time” and what we do with it.

We’ve got appointments and errands to run tomorrow so we’ll see what else we can accomplish. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

What do you call a president who has to do a lot of laundry?

  2. It's interesting that even after locking down and all the mask wearing, there are still Covid 19 cases.

  4. The Krackers joke is probably the worst one I have ever heard in my life. Congratulations on setting a record. As well has having put in 9 years on the blog. I'm a late arrival, and you were off-road when I started reading you, but I find it interesting! Keep going.

  5. I have never seen baked beans on toast. Is it a Canadian thing? I am going to try it because I do like baked beans.
