Too Laxed, Pencil Tree Turning, Steaming Hot and Hallmark Movies.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

When I got up this morning there was the feeling that something was just not right. It would only be a few more minutes when I figured out the problem.

Gloomy kind of day.

I’ve mentioned how I often put chores or other duties before my own well being. Well today by being too lax on my exercise routine it came around to haunt me. Even though I have been exercising at least twice a week in the comfort of our Apartment has been helpful there are sometimes when having access to good Cardio Equipment can’t be beat. With the latest Wave of the Coronavirus now being witnessed all around us I have continued staying away from the Gym so I would not be bringing anything home to Kathy who has a Compromised Immune System. With hopes of spending many more years together I won’t take that chance.

After spending the morning doing my morning chores as best as I could Kathy made Pork Sandwiches using Hamburger Buns with Peppers as a side for lunch along with Oranges, Cookies and Chocolate Pudding Cups for dessert.

I finished assembling what is actually termed as a Pencil Tree. Whoever was in charge of packing this one for shipment must not like their job too much because they Twist Knotted more the Three Quarters of the branches. Luckily there was no Damage just a lot of frustration trying to untangle it. With a diameter of only Two Feet these types of trees are highly recommended for small apartments like our’s.

Impossible to see the Angels in this shot.

One thing that we have had since 2000 and have used on Four different Christmas Trees is a Rotating Base. Kathy spent a couple of Hours filling this Tree with her Angel Ornaments as it turned. The branches on this Tree are also made lighter so she will not be using some of the slightly larger Ornaments due to their weight. I definitely will need the larger Camera in order to get some individual pictures.

Kathy made Meat Balls on Egg Noodles for supper and we shared an Apple for dessert while watching the 6 o’clock Local News. We are expecting a white ground covering through the night that will be washed away by Rain in the morning.

I’ve taken showers for years but after the News was over I took a steaming hot Bath that seemed to give me some relief.

We watched a couple of Hallmark Christmas Movies to round out our evening. Hopefully I can straighten up my act and get back to being more productive tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. I love those skinny trees, they would work in an RV as well. I would love to see pictures of Kathy's angels.

  2. I love that little tree, so pretty! I was just talking w Ken about cardio. Our treadmill is in garage so I chicken out when it's cold. Ken goes pretty faithfully. Dinner looks yummy, nice comfort food!

  3. I do not recall seeing a tree like that before. It seems to me to be a great idea. Thanks for enlightening me, I need all the help I can get.

  4. yup, hard to do those stretches and other things we need to do everyday when we're on our own to make time to do them. (I say make time...haha. Not like my social schedule is full these covid days. and as I am retired, no work days..) Shorter daylight and colder weather don't help much.
