Working Out, President-Elect and Stand Arrival.

I managed to sleep until nearly 8:00 this morning but I wanted to get things accomplished so didn’t stay in bed longer then I needed. After getting our Muffins ready for breakfast I started my morning reading before Kathy joined me.

As soon as we sat by our Computers Kathy wanted to know the Election Results. They had changed slightly overnight but nothing had been resolved after Three Days. As soon as we finished our morning drinks and morning chores I started exercising like I did the other day.

I was barely started when the announcement came across the Television screen that Joe Biden had been declared the winner of the US Presidential Election to become the 46th President of the United States. I continued working out while Kathy watched as throngs of people took to the streets all over the country to Celebrate. I actually managed to complete Two Double Sets of all my exercises in Ninety Minutes and there wasn’t an Ache or Pain in my body.

After washing my hands I immediately started making Grilled Cheese Sandwiches while Kathy made dessert plates with Oranges, Pecan Tarts and Yogurt Cups. Since we are both Lactose Intolerant we watch to buy Lactose Free Dairy Products.

While Kathy returned to watching the jubilation on the Television I took a much needed shower. As soon as I was decent again we got ready to leave.

The 68 F (20 C) temperatures were comfortable but the 25 MPH Wind Gusts being funnelled between the buildings made it feel closer to Fifty.

Our destination was Guardian Storage. Kathy had ordered Plant Stand months ago but because of Coronvirus it only arrived a Half Hour after we collected our Mail on Thursday. Figures. 

That is freshly graded Gravel today.

We also took the time to get something from our Climate Controlled Storage Unit as well as checking on the Trailer. The last time we were there the Rain had created a small lake in front of it. Today we noticed there had been additional gravel added and graded to stopped the problem. 

We drove over to Princess Auto where Kathy looked around the Surplus Section while I checked out the 12 Volt Compressors. They had Lite-Weight Units that didn’t look very sturdy but they also had one that was solid as a rock. The problem is that it is meant to be piped in and cost nearly as much as some smaller home Compressors. We walked out empty handed.

While grocery shopping on Thursday we were given a Free Stir Fry Dinner to try. It comes with the Vegetables in a Vacuum Sealed Package along with Pesto Paste that neither of us are crazy about as well as the Pasta. Kathy started cooking it at 5:30 and we were eating by the time the 6 o’clock Local News came on. Other then the announcement of Joe Biden becoming the President-Elect the rest of the News was a repeat of yesterday.

We cleaned up the Dishes and Kitchen before returning to the Computers. At 8:00 we turned on the US News Media Channel so we could watch the Acceptance Speeches from both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. With all the unrest that has been growing in the country they appear to be a winning team that will Unite the Country.
