Things
seemed to work better last night by simply taking a Melatonin
Tablet before going to bed. The strange part is what works one
time might not work the next. I did wake a few times as I rolled over
but managed to sleep most of the night.Recent Rain caused a focal problem.
Being up by 7:00 I simply took my time getting things ready to start our day. It wasn’t until I opened the Balcony Blinds that the Sun started making its appearance. Next I set things up for breakfast before heading to the Computers. I always turn them both on so there’s no startup delay for Kathy.
Again I struggled to stay awake while reading. Just wish I had the same problem when I’m supposed to be sleeping in bed.
Since Kathy had taken one of the Prescription Tablets from the Hospital last night after 9:00 this morning I cracked open the Bedroom Blinds. When that didn’t work I started the Water Kettle while I filled our Cereal Bowls. As soon as the switch popped because the Kettle had boiled Kathy practically jumped out of bed like an Alarm had gone off.
We spent the morning doing chores and reading completed. For lunch Kathy made some Perogies to go along with a couple of Cookies and Yogurt Cup for dessert.
Even with a forecasted high of 48 F (9 C) with the moderate wind blowing Kathy just didn’t feel like going out even for a simple walk. Knowing inaction was not doing me any good I did some stretching exercises that seemed to help. After not working out for over a week I didn’t want to overdo it.
I cooked up the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls along with the Vegetable Fried Rice that we get in the Freezer Section at the grocery store for our supper served with our Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine). I also made the Yogurt covered Grapes that we both seem to enjoy.
The only thing talked about on the 6 o’clock Local News was the Coronavirus. Even though the Local Health Unit realizes we are all getting tired of hearing about the Virus but the sooner we all stick with the Guidelines the sooner we’ll be able to defeat this Invisible Enemy.
We watched a couple of Hallmark Christmas Movies this evening. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
Krackers
You Might Be a Redneck If
You can name all the characters from the "Dukes of Hazard".
It really seems like the guidelines aren't working much at all. Even though they continue to blame people for congregating, if they are wearing masks, why isn't it working?
ReplyDeleteFunny the things that are our trigger alarms. I wake up when I hear Mr.M put the dog out the back door. When my husband was still alive, I would read until Jay Leno show started. That theme music was my clue to go to sleep.
ReplyDeleteIf we could get rid of the media a lot of the Virus would be gone. Why don't they tell the truth about people dying and their ages! Humboldt county had another attributed to CV, he was in his 90's ..scare tactics for sure! Hallmark movies always make me feel better! LOL
ReplyDeleteRick your sleep patterns are very familiar. I've done the different solutions as you have. Doesn't help much but finally exhaustion takes over. Good luck on your sleeping.
ReplyDeleteI don't rely on the media for virus information.. I check our local health department. Local people doing testing and counting. Also recording deaths and hospitalizations. I live in a small town and know those people who work there. They're not making anything up. I don't think there's a conspiracy about this. It would have to be worldwide, and in my old age, I'm not sure people can keep secrets very well anyway. Ha.
