Restful Night, Sliding Temperature, Flurries and Hallmark Christmas Movies.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Even though our activity level wasn’t very high yesterday we both slept like a couple of rocks last night. Since I cheated and changed all our Clocks back to EST before 11:00 last night we weren’t preoccupied with that throughout the night allowing us to sleep past 9:00 EST this morning. I didn’t even feel guilty about it. That also meant we didn’t wake up wondering what time it was.

Looking out the Balcony Door we would occasionally see a sliver of Sunlight breaking through the Clouds. When I checked The Weather Network it showed that our Overnight Temperatures only dropped to 41 F (5 C) which also turned out to be the high for the day. After 9:00 the temperature was making a long slow slide down. By the middle of the afternoon the temperature would barely be above the Freezing Mark with Flurries.

We were between working on our Computers and our morning chores when Kathy said she saw Flakes going by the Black Bicycle Cover on the Balcony. I only saw a few from the Bedroom Window before lunch.

With a forecasted low energy day ahead of us we chose to have Split Pea with Ham Soup along with Grapes and Chocolate Pudding Cups for dessert.

We continued doing what we could at the Computers until our lunch settled. I was then able to pull out my exercise equipment and get another good workout in.

Kathy was still busy taking care of business when I finished so I quickly washed before starting to make supper. When you exercise your Metabolism starts to race and will continue to do so for approximately an Hour after you stop. So if you eat within that time period whatever you eat is instantly digested. Supper was simply Angus Beef Burgers grilled in the Fry Pan and served on a Hamburger Buns. They were good just not the same as on the Grill.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we learned that the downtown Windsor district actually had an accumulation that whitened the grass before later melting away. Our area had more Virus Cases today but they were left to self isolate.

We also watched a couple more Hallmark Christmas Movies today. We’ve things to tend to tomorrow so we’ll see how the rest of the day goes. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

Words of Inspiration

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicity.

Thomas Jefferson 3rd President of the United states of America.

  3. Ha. I write from Texas, and it was colder here in the central part than you had up there overnight. But things can change!! We also got up to 70, and no snow within....oh.....500 miles? I'll be looking forward to snow photos even though you probably aren't. Thanks for your postings. I enjoy them every day....And you have an apt quote from jefferson to wind things up today. We'll see. May be a bumpy ride south of your border.....I'm on the same train as MsBelinda. Hope we aren't derailed.
