On a day that I’d hoped to get up early I did the opposite and slept in late. Walking around trying to get things ready for us to start our day it felt like I was walking in a fog. Not having taken any kind of medication in months and only waking once through the night, I just couldn’t seem to understand it. Minutes later Kathy came downstairs complaining of the same symptom. What did we both do yesterday that would make us feel like this? We both spent time outside in the Hot Weather yesterday. The Oxygen level would have been low but it was still Fresh Air.
Low Clouds today.
With not too much planned for today we made our time at the Computers a Two Cup Morning. We got caught up on our E-mail, News, Weather and Blog Reading. We even took extra time looking at Sites that we’ve not gone to in some time. Looking at all the Nations that are now having Disagreements with others that they have called Allies for decades makes you wonder “What is going on?” “Why can’t we all just get along?

We opted for an early lunch so to keep it lite Kathy made Perogies with Sour Cream, Bacon Bits and Cheddar Cheese topped off with the last of the Bing Cherries for dessert.

Kathy was busy doing research while I went outside to finish working on the Gate Project for our friend Kathie. It would only take another Two Hours of welding and grinding before it would be finished. I had planned on painting it but being that Kathie said she would do it and that she wasn’t going to be at her apartment tomorrow I packed everything including Tools into the Car.

When I went inside to cool down I suddenly realized just how wet my clothes were for the time I had been outside. Luckily, we keep some Mott’s Juice Ice Bars (Icicles) in the Freezer for these types of occasions. Within minutes I was feeling better and managed to change into dry clothes before we left.

We stopped at Guardian Storage in Windsor to collect the few pieces of Mail that we had before driving back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit to put a small case back inside.

We arrived at Kathie’s apartment just past 4:30 and she was not surprisingly alone. Her face lit up just seeing us but when she saw me bringing the Gates over to her Patio she was jumping for joy. This will create a closed yard for when she is taking care of her granddaughter. After getting it installed we noticed a flaw in the Latching Mechanism but found a quick fix for it. We stayed a while longer talking, since she lives by herself she appreciates adult company.

It was past 6:00 when we said our Good-Byes and headed off but our early lunch was long gone. We stopped at Wendy’s where we had our usual meal off the Value Menu all for the low price of $7.19. Can’t beat that!

It was just after 7:00 when we arrived Home and decided to watch another Movie. With the 97 F (36 C) that we experienced today this only seemed fitting to cool us down. The movie was called “Noel” with Susan Sarandon and a host of other stars. It shows how people who are by themselves on Christmas Eve learn to deal with life and the Spirit of Love. An Enjoyable Story along with the Actors reaction to the Movie.

Tomorrow we’ve got to start getting ready. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
