We were both up at a decent hour this morning after
having been lulled to sleep by the falling Rain throughout the night. I
would later check our Rain Gauge to find that we had accumulated another
3/8 of an Inch of
water from the sky.
Once breakfast was over we took our Coffees over
to the Computers. Checking all the correspondents I’d received it wasn’t
long before I started with other chores.
When you buy new Bedding the Manufacture
recommends they be washed before using them so that’s what I planned on doing. Kathy
wanted Fresh Sheets on our bed, so she recommended I wash the ones on
our bed as well.
By 10:00 I was headed over to the Park Laundry Room. I
only needed Two Washers but had to take One on each side of the
room. There was no way that I was leaving Three Sets of Bamboo Sheets unattended
which was a good thing when they were in the Dryers. Since these
machines have smaller sized drums I needed to untangle the Balled-Up Sheets
a number of times, so that everything would dry. With everything all folded I was
finally back
Home by 12:30.
As soon as Kathy heard me arrive she finished
prepping lunch. We had Acorn Squash, Broasted Chicken, Cottage
Cheese and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.
Looking outside
the Clouds were looking very threatening. Once I’d eaten I headed
outside to do a few chores there.
Having added water down the Vent Stack on
Monday to clear the blockage I still needed to drain our Waste Tanks today.
Using my usual method of cleaning out the Black Tank I was very happy to
see clear water coming out when I finally used the Flush in it.
Inside the Trailer after washing up I spent time
cutting up a Pineapple, then I did the same thing to the second Celery
Root that we had purchased. With all that done it was time to take out the Trash
but I cheated by just putting it in the back of the Truck so it could be
dealt with later.
I made up the Bed with Fresh Sheets
while Kathy was doing her thing boiling the Celery Root to soften it up.
When those chores were done we both sat for a short while and got caught up on
some Blog Reading. It was barely 4:00 when Kathy started breading and
frying the Celery Root. That was the only thing we ate for our supper
and there are only a few pieces that were put aside for a snack.
Shortly after 5:00 we were out the door. Using the Truck
for the first time in over a week we knew that it needed exercise so we
dropped off the Trash before heading towards Amherstburg.
Our first stop was Pharma Choice drug
store. Last week while I was counting all the pills one container came up
short. Our former Pharmacy was always doing that so that was why I started
counting all our meds. This was the first time this happened and when I called
and spoke to Steve, he verified that it was a New Assistant that had
filled the order. They had the Makeup Pills waiting for me when we
arrived.
Our next stop was to visit with our son Kevin and
daughter-in-law Melissa. We had fun listening to their description of how her
parents were slowly getting used to Apartment Living after having owned
their House for over Fifty Years. Melissa often serves us hot Tea
and small snacks. I don’t know what was happening but I managed to spilled
my Tea twice tonight and I normally never do it.
Just as we were getting ready to head for Home it
started raining just enough that we had to run the wipers all the way to the Park.
Checking my E-Mail this evening we have a few people interested in the
unit we are advertising on Kijiji. Thanks
for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
