I had everything ready for breakfast and started my morning reading on the Computer by 8:00 this morning. Kathy needed just a little more sleep only to join me by 8:30 downstairs. With not too much planned for the day we made it a Two-Cup morning not only reading things that are current but getting caught up on those that we missed on our early morning excursions this week.

For lunch Kathy kept it simple by making up Perogies with Sour Cream and Shredded Cheese then made a couple of Strawberry Shortcakes from the Leftover Mashed Strawberries from yesterday.

I’m starting to understand why Kathy hated the Eyedrops the most about her Cataract Surgery. You can be in the middle of something and you have to stop to do the Drops.

To break up our day we watched a Matinee Movie this afternoon titled of all things “About Time”. It was a Romantic Comedy that was made in England about Time Traveling. We both enjoyed it. If you look on our Left Sidebar you will find a saying from British Actor Jeremy Irons telling us something very important.

We all have our time machines.
Some take us back.
They're called Memories.
Some take us forward.
They're called Dreams.

Kathy kept supper simple again by serving us Macaroni and Cheese.

I’ve mentioned lately that we had listed a Unit on Kijiji to sell. That Unit was my friend Ross’s CPAP Machine that he was using for Sleep Apnea. He had a Heart Condition and was having problems with Sodium retention so his Doctor hospitalized him to get it under control. Before then Ross always used his CPAP in the Hospital with an added Oxygen connection but that time the hospital argued the Oxygen was adequate. He had further problems and was sent up to London University Hospital where they planned on releasing him on May 24, 2016. Instead at 2:00 in the morning Ross stopped Breathing. If he’d had his CPAP with him, he might still be here today.

After cleaning up his personal affects Kathie just wanted it gone and didn’t care what we did with it. The plan is to sell his Unit and give her the money from it. I check my E-mail multiple times a day for inquiries but this evening I found a message from Kijiji informing me that my ad had been removed because it is considered Illegal or Offensive. I immediately fired off a reply to them explaining what the CPAP was and that they didn’t know what they were talking about. I’m waiting for their Response.

We’ll be back at the Hospital visiting our good friend Vera tomorrow and we’ll pass along everyone’s wishes for a speedy recovery. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Sometimes you have to wonder about the programming for some of the sites like Kijiji. Not sure how the heck a CPAP machine ad is "offensive", but there ought to be an actual human monitoring the ads that the algorithm sniffs out and deems "offensive". I guess one never knows if going to the hospital will make you better, or kill you. Sorry to read of your friend Ross's passing. Hang in there.

  2. Considering some things Ai’ve seen On social media, I can’t imagine how your ad could be offensive.
