Supporting Ronald McDonald Houses.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Although I was connected to my CPAP Machines most of the night, I kept on waking up from the discomfort in my Shoulder. It seems strange that even though my Shoulder is causing all this Pain, I am continually waking up while laying on it, just like I did with my Hip.

It had Rained overnight so after looking at the Cloud covered sky, I busied myself on my Computer getting Spreadsheets ready to print and checking the Local News before Kathy came out to join me. We settled for Cereal with Banana Slices for breakfast.

I waited to Print the Documents until Kathy was up so as not to disturb her, when I finally hit the button, the Printer started playing games. I had to cancel everything before starting over for the second time.

I heard what I thought was a Text coming on my Phone, but when I checked there was none. So I checked Kathy’s Phone only to find it turned off. I finally plugged it in to charge, only to have it show 0% Battery Power.

It was past noon when we again headed out the door. The temperature would eventually reach 54 F (12 C) but the Northerly Winds made it feel like a warm Winter day. At least the Sun was shining.

Today we stopped at McDonald’s for lunch in support of the Ronald McDonald Houses. When children are hospitalized far from home, Ronald McDonald Houses are close by, giving the Parents someplace nearby. Besides being able to buy Trinkets, make Donation, all you needed to do was to but a Meal and you would be donating to this cause. This supports a Local House and since Windsor has one, these funds will stay local. We enjoyed their Sweet Chili Wraps with Grilled Chicken for our lunch.

Our next stop was the Bone Joint and Muscle Walk-in Clinic to see what they could do for me. I only got the chance to talk to the Therapist and he said he needed to correspond with my Family Doctor. He did however advise me to not lift more than 5lbs with my primary arm, not lift it over my head and not to sleep on it. That was when I found out they took Cash Payments Only. Looks like I’ll be finding someplace else to go.

We barely made it back home by 3:00. that gave us time to get caught up on our Computer reading. I finally found a Physio Therapist to help me out, but the soonest they can see me is Two Weeks. Better than nothing I guess.

The 6 o’clock Local News Weather Guesser showed we can expect a nice Mother’s Day Weekend.

We finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Meat and Mushroom Pizza for a late supper.

We later watched “9-1-1” and “Elsbeth” for entertainment.

Now over Twelve Hours later, Kathy’s Phone still is not fully charged.
