Last night was another night of improved sleep, but I can’t take all the credit because I cheated. Taking one of the leftover Pain Pills that I got from the Hospital following my Hip/Leg Surgery. They are all a fraction of what an Extra Strength Tylenol would be, but just by taking the edge off the Pain allows me to sleep.
I got things ready to make breakfast before going On-Line. Whenever I do that, it seems that Kathy wakes within a few minutes. As soon as she did, I finished the preparation and started cooking. Kathy enjoyed her Banana/Chocolate Chip Pancake while I enjoyed my Banana Pancake.
Since this was the Canadian Victoria Day Holiday, lots of the businesses were closed so we worked at what we could in the Apartment.
We are really enjoying this Refurbished Modem that had not dropped either of us since it was installed. Unfortunately when the Building Power goes out there is no avoiding the issue. When it came back on, it was another Five Minutes before it totally reconnected itself. We knew the moment the Power was back on, because our Television and CPAP Machines all turned on and we had to shut them off.
We kept lunch Lite by having Italian Wedding Soup. It’s nice when we are not having a busy day, we get cut back on our intakes.
We
double checked the US
News Channels
to find the same news as yesterday, before
simply turning it off. For some reason the Local
News Channel
we
get the most accurate reports on, does not air the News
on Weekends
or Holidays.
We didn’t look at the time until we started feeling hungry, then we nearly started to panic, it was nearly 8:00. We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for supper while watching a couple episodes of “NCIS”.
I set the Alarm already because tomorrow we have a very busy morning or more.
