Making It Count.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

At least last night was half decent though I don’t think I slept that much. I finally finished my night, sitting upright in my Recliner without the use of the CPAP Machine.

Knowing that John was supposed to return to replace the Cartridges in our shower, I woke Kathy around 9:00. Breakfast was simply Cereal with Blueberries on top.

I never even looked at the weather report today, after practically memorizing it yesterday. What I did do, was to open up was our Medical Spreadsheet to get ready for today’s chore. That was when I realized that I had forgot to call the Pharmacy to order top ups to a few of Kathy’s Prescription Medications. As soon as I called and explained the situation to the Pharmacist he were certain they could help us out. He did remind me that we would need to pick them up before they closed at 1:00 this afternoon.

We headed out by 11:00 after leaving a note on our door, telling John the Building Maintenance Man that we would be back by 1:30.

By 11:20 we arrived at Health First Pharmacy as they were just finishing up Kathy’s Meds. The Insurance would not pay for the Jardiance at this time, because it is a popular Diabetic Medication that people are using for Weight Loss. Kathy is taking it because that was what the Doctor prescribed. If I call back in Two Weeks, it will be covered and I can simply add it to the Doucettes then.

I hate having to stick little notes on the Doucettes, but it’s a lot cheaper than what I would have had to pay. $$$ Being frustrated I didn’t feel like going home to have to cook up lunch with the possibility of missing John, we went to Mary Brown’s Drive-Thru and ordered Two Chicken Sandwiches to go. This is a Canadian Brand and is slowly adding more outlets across the Country. Their Sandwiches are unbeatable and filling, just $$$.

With the high Winds blowing, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance before going to park the Car. The Sandwiches were still warm when we sat down to eat them at 12:30, which happened to be the same time that John knocked on the door. We ate while he replaced the Cartridges and we both finished about the same time.

As soon as I logged the new Medications into our Spreadsheet, I transformed the table into a workstation. After separating all the Vials and Bottles, I set about filling the Doucettes. Because of all the Prescription Medications that Kathy takes along with Vitamins, it took nearly Two Hours to get her’s accurately filled for Six Weeks. Being that mine were all Vitamins, it only took Forty-Five Minutes.

After cleaning off the table and a short rest, I was able to update the Medication Spreadsheet, before making Veggie Wraps for our supper, using Leftover Stir-Fry that I made the other day.

It wasn’t until we finished eating that I was able to get our Medication Box store where it belongs.

With very little to watch on the television tonight, we watched couple episodes of “Fear Thy Neighbour”.

Not sure what we’ll be up to tomorrow.
