I'd Said It Would Be Busy.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I lucked out being able to actually sleep before the Alarm woke me at 6:30 this morning. That gave me just enough time to take my morning Meds, and a couple of Cookies before I headed out the door. Due to the time, Kathy had opted to stay home while I took care of personal business.

There was still plenty of Road Construction to navigate but I managed to be earlier than I needed to be.

What was suspicious was there were no Vehicles parked in front of the building, so when I saw plenty of other cars heading behind the building, I followed. Most of those cars were parents dropping off there Kids, that were putting in time in learning the Medical Profession.

After sitting in the Car for a few minutes, I headed inside. Reaching the second floor, I noticed young therapists going in, even though the waiting room at Advanced Rehabilitation Center (ARC) was in darkness. Instead of standing out in the hall, I was sitting in the darkness when Kelly the Receptionist turned the lights on. Even with my printed Medical History, I still had paperwork to fill in.

I was soon seeing Sarah the Physiotherapist who could see the loss of range in my Shoulder. Reviewing my Medical History, she instantly remembered me for my Hip/Leg Problems last year. She again commented, that she wished everyone was as detailed with their Medical History as I am. After treatment and exercises that I was told not to overdo, I was scheduled for my next appointment.

It had been suggested that I try the X-Ray/Ultra Sound Business downstairs as a way to speed up my recovery, but the earliest opening they had was the end of August.

I called Kathy to verify that she was up, before I left the parking lot. When I got within a Mile of home, I hit redial so she would meet me downstairs. While waiting for her to join me, I called her Rheumatologist Office. Somehow I had misplaced Kathy’s copy of the Blood Tests page so they were able to FAX it over to the blood clinic.

We arrived at the Dyna-Care blood clinic in Tecumseh for Kathy to get her Two Month Blood Draw with time to spare, because I had booked a later appointment.

While Kathy was getting her blood drawn, I called the Pharmacy to order the Top-Up Medications that they refuse to give us Two Weeks ago. We were on the road before her scheduled appointment time arrived.

Since it was nearly noon we stopped at Wendy’s for lunch. Instead of having a Soft Drink with our meals, we both had Coffee in an attempt to warm up. The outside temperature was only 50 F (10 C) but with the Northeast Wind Gusts, we were cold.

It was past 1:00 by the time we arrived at Health First Pharmacy. Even though I had given them the exact number of Jardiance needed for a Kathy, they still gave me a hard time, because people are using it as a weight loss medication rather than for controlling their Sugar Levels.

Back at our building, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance while I parked the Car. Heading for the front entrance, I still nearly froze getting there. I can well imagine how cold going in the rear entrance would have felt. The position of the building we live in and the adjacent one creates a Vortex for the Wind and it was already strong enough without that.

We had lots of reading to get caught up on once we got on our Computers. We weren’t on them long when we got a call from Hearing Life. The Audiologist would not be available for Kathy’s testing next week, but she can see her tomorrow. “Why Not”!

We were watching the 6 o’clock Local News while sharing a Veggie/Cheese Omelette for supper. We later watched a few episodes of FBI for entertainment.
