Errands Cut Short.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After another good night’s sleep, I was barely up Ten Minutes when Kathy came out to join me for a Breakfast Snack to start our day.

Looking outside we could see the Local Forecast was accurate, with puddles throughout the parking lot and it would be an all day drizzle.

Heading across the City on Riverside Drive, we only had to stop for a few Traffic Lights. That meant we arrived at our Family Doctor’s Office with time to spare. George was happy with both our Blood Pressures but will be giving us more Specialists Appointments to deal with our individual conditions. George wished that I had gone for treatment for my shoulder sooner. We’ll see him again next month.

Thinking we’d run a few errands, we thought that we’d grab a sandwich to help us carry on. The problem was that the local area High Schools allow students to leave the School Grounds for lunch, making it hard for us to find a Fast Food Outlet that wasn’t lined up out the doors. We squeezed into the west-end Popeye’s and tried something different. We think we’ll just go back to their regular sandwiches.

Realizing some of the paperwork we needed was at the Apartment and the Rain was not letting up, we called it a day and just headed for home. I dropped Kathy at the front entrance so she could stay dry. After parking the Car, I got lucky when the Rain turned to a Drizzle.

Since we had only checked The Weather Network before leaving this morning, we had a lot of reading to get caught up on when we got in.

The 6 o’clock Local News told us mostly what we had already read On-Line earlier, but we did see the meeting between our Prime Minister and the US President in the Oval Office.

We share a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza with extra Mushrooms for our late supper before cleaning up the Dishes then watching “Will Trent”, “The Rookies” and “FBI: Most Wanted” for entertainment.

Tomorrow will be dryer and busier.
