Kathy managed to get to bed before I even shut my Computer last night. By the time I took a single Melatonin 3mg Tablet she was very much asleep. I also slept like a rock until 8:00 this morning when Heather called to let us know that our son Ken was home. She was surprised that we already knew and that we were still asleep. She just doesn’t get what being retired is all about.
The most Sun we had all day.
Well we were both awake by then even though a few minutes more in bed would have been better. We kept breakfast Lite with a Bran Muffin and Coffee/Tea before moving on.

Kathy went on her Computer while I changed the bedding before starting to sort the rest of the Laundry. I was ready to head down to the Laundry Room by 11:00 but when would we have lunch.
While I made the Split Pea Soup Kathy put together a dessert plate of a Coconut Macaroon, a Clementine Orange and a Yogurt Cup along with Cherry Cherry Tea. Lunch was satisfying and tasty and we were finished eating by 11:30.

Timing was critical because One of the Washers in the Laundry Room was “Out of Order”. Luckily I was the only person there so with Three Washers going as soon as One finished I immediately got the Dryers going and reloaded the Washer. In the end I did Five Loads of Laundry and had it all folded before the last Dryer shut down.

Kathy had been busy cleaning old files and receipts from our File Cabinet. It was past 3:30 by the time I got back to the Apartment and it didn’t take long to get everything put away.
Picture taken at 4:00 and the lights were that bright.
For supper tonight we had the Beef Barley Soup that we got from our daughter Karen yesterday. It tasted great and showed that she did pay attention when Kathy taught her how to cook. We still have more for another meal.

After watching our 6 o’clock Local News we checked what else was on the tube to watch. Since we’ve been following what has been happening with the Impeachment Hearings we ended up watching CNN’s coverage of the Democratic Presidential Debate. Since we don’t even follow our own Canadian Politics that was quite a learning experience. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

things you buy now won't wear out.

  1. I don't follow any of that stuff either, especially on CNN. It seems all of the news companies have special interests nowadays instead of just reporting the news. Don't believe everything you see seems to be the word of the day.

  3. You just reminded me that I am carrying my sheets and towels in the trunk waiting for an opportunity to go to the laundromat when I spot one with few to no people.

Congratulations considering that you are Canadian on watching our Democratic Presidential Debates. I watched them as well...wish more Americans would take an interest in what is going on in our country.
