Getting An Air Conditioner, Chores, Working Out and Impeachment Fanagling.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

After getting up before 7:30 this morning I was officially up before the Sun. I had everything ready for breakfast and had just turned my Computer on when Kathy came out at 8:00. What surprised us was all the Clouds had disappeared leaving us with a bright blue sky.
Breakfast was a Brand Muffin along with our Coffee/Tea that we brought to the Computers. We needed to get a few supplies before it would become a critical issue. After making our List that we would use we began making lunch.
Lunch today was the Leftover Pepper Steak on a bed of Egg Noodles with a Clementine Orange and Yogurt Cup for dessert along with Cherry Cherry Tea for our beverage.
After a quick phone call e were on our way out the door. Our first stop was Al’s Air Conditioners. This is the guy we sold our AC Unit to when we decided to go Fulltime in our RV. He specializes in Sleeve Air Conditioners but does carry others as well. He even guarantees Used AC Units that he refurbishes. We could have gotten a lower end Unit but with the Extreme Summers that we have gotten the last few years we’d rather not take the chance.

Many are probably wondering what we need an AC for when it is presently well below the Freezing Mark. It seems the last few years we have gone from Winter straight to Summer which is totally out of character for this area but why wait until you need it and none are available. The Politicians say there’s no such thing as Global Warming but I think they are wrong. Al will deliver and install it this week.
As mentioned many times Kathy has Rheumatoid Arthritis in her Hands but she also has a touch of it in her Feet. Since the Copper Lined Compression Gloves are working on her Hands we thought we’d look for Compression Socks at Well Wise a Shoppers Drug Mart outlet that specializes in Medical Devices that you can’t find in their Drug Stores. They had what we were looking for but Kathy wasn’t about to pay Ninety Dollars for a single pair of Socks.
Our next stop was Dollarama for some Craft Supplies. The lettering she painted on our small In-House Mailbox didn’t show very well so we looked for and found some stick on letters that will be more visible.
Our next stop was Taco Bell where we used a Coupon to have our supper at a lesser cost. Since we didn’t know how long it would take to run our errands we didn’t take anything out of the Freezer so this also saved us time.

We were back at the Apartment by 5:30 and I was out the door before 6:00. I often write and comment how my exercising relieves my bodies Aches and Pains from Injuries I got during my career. Even though I last worked out on Friday the cold temperatures were causing me problems.
It was minutes after 6:00 when I arrived at Planet Fitness and I was surprised how busy it has gotten since the Grand Opening. After changing I started with my Thirty-Five Minutes of Cardio before moving around between the Free Weights and the Resistance Machines. You might wonder why I do that. If One is in use by someone else I move to One that isn’t. It was nearly 8:00 when I finished with more Cardio before heading for the showers.

It surprise Kathy when I walked in just before 9:00. She had completed lettering the Mailbox along with doing the Dishes from lunch before getting into a book.

We watched more about the Impeachment on CNN and listened to things that are being done so that Evidence can’t be presented and Witnesses can’t be called. Lets hope the US Voters realize what is happening. We also watched our 11 o’clock Local News.

To all our US Readers we hope that you enjoyed the Doctor Martin Luther King Holiday. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

Q: What do you call it when a walrus eats 1,000 clams?

A: A calamity.

  1. Great that you are keeping up with your gym routine. Maybe you can find the socks somewhere else cheaper. I may look into the copper gloves.

  2. We US voters are definitely keeping up with the impeachment. We are following news sources other than CNN which is very biased. There's a lot you are not hearing.

  3. CNN is the last place I would depend on to get unbiased news.

I'm surprised your apartment doesn't come with air conditioning included.

  4. Sorry, but I have to agree. CNN is the most biased news station I've ever seen. Don't believe most of what they say. Keep up the exercise ... it sure seems to be working for you!

    1. A quote from Hilary to ponder,
It's really a shame that all the people who support progressive politics and policies haven't understood that that's exactly the right question to ask. We do have some well-off people who support Democratic candidates, there's no doubt about that, but they've never bought a TV station. They've never gobbled up radio stations. They've never created newspapers in local communities to put out propaganda. That's all been done not just by Murdoch and Fox, but by Sinclair and by the Koch brothers and by so many others who have played a long game about how we really influence the thinking of Americans.

  6. I would be interested in what Kathy finds regarding compression socks. Leonard needs ones that are not so dang hard to get on and off.

  7. Up until recently you have had a very nice blog. Please don't RUIN it with political opinions. You know the old saying, what opinions are like and everyone has one!
