Changing Weather, Change Of Plans and Change Of Mind.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We were both in bed before midnight last night but because she didn’t sleep too well the night before Kathy slept soundly. I only rolled over a couple of times last night and Kathy wasn’t breathing through her mouth like the other night which is a good thing. Within minutes of my leaving the bedroom this morning Kathy was joining me for breakfast. When we spoke while we ate she said she felt very rested.
The Sun struggled to come through the Clouds and cold temperatures were the result. Looking at The Weather Network it confirmed that the warmest part of our day would happen later this evening. We spent part of the morning on our Computers as well as inside chores.
Our High until after 6:00 when it started to warm up.
We tried the Slip Covers on our Love Seat and there was no way they would work. Luckily it was simple enough to contact Amazon On-Line to return the product. Once the Return Label was printed and affixed to the box we were ready to bring it back.
First we had to have lunch so we had Vegetable Soup along with Cheese and Crackers then we topped it off with a Rice Crispy Square along with an Apple Sauce Cup.
Our first stop was the Shoppers Drug Mart at the Tecumseh Mall. Each location has a Canada Post Office desk which made it easy simple to send the Amazon Package back. With this being Thursday Shoppers Drug Mart offers a Twenty Percent Seniors Discount so we picked up some of the Vitamins that we’ll need the next time I make up the Pill Doucettes. The best part was that all the Vitamins that we were needing were also “On-Sale” so our savings was more then just the Twenty Percent.
We also stopped at the Bulk Barn to get our Raisins, Trail Mix and some Tea at better then grocery store prices. While I put them in the Car Kathy went in the Zehr’s grocery store to pick up some produce.
It was past 4:00 when we were finished there so we drove over to Taco Bell. Just before we left our apartment building I checked the downstairs Mailbox only to find Coupons for Taco Bell. We enjoyed supper at a discounted price.

We needed to find another Shoppers Drug Mart because the first one didn’t have my Iron Supplement Tablets that I need to be able to make Blood Donations every Eight Weeks. Once we had those we headed back to the Apartment.

While Kathy put the Bulk Products away I logged in the Vitamins that we had purchased into the Spreadsheet that I use to keep track of them.

We both finished just in time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. The local weather guesser seemed to confirm what The Weather Network was forecasting as far as our temperature rising after dark. He also mentioned the increase in Wind along with lots of Rain that will be heading our way over the Weekend. To start off the week the temperatures will once again drop then bring in chance of SXXW.

Not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow but we’ll let you know after it happens. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  4. Thanks for your regular blood donations. I try but often my vein collapses and they send me home. No fun.
