Getting Closer To Our Fulltiming Adventure.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After sleeping in until nearly 8:30 this morning we didn’t have time to waste. As soon as we’d finished eating breakfast Kathy and I immediately did the dishes. While Kathy went to check on her E-mails I made the bed and got dressed before going to my computer. It was then Kathy’s turn for getting dressed and staging the bed. All that and it wasn’t even 9:00 in the morning. You might ask “What was the rush?” I mentioned in last night’s post that we were expecting another apartment showing to a possible future tenant. So we didn’t plan on getting caught in our PJs when they arrived.

At that point Kathy settled in at her laptop doing further research for our southern departure this fall. What she is not doing as she had to do on many of our previous trips is committing to an exact time frame. What she is doing is researching things that she feels would be of interest to us to see along the way and using that as a guide of the route that we’ll travel. I returned to converting files from my old PC that I will be donating to Computer for Kids prior to our going Fulltime.

Just before 10:00 Dan the manager called saying the possible tenant had just called to cancel. (So much for rushing!) Since he had other papers for us to sign he offered to come up with them. When he arrived he started telling us about changes Skyline Living the new building owners were going to be making for any new tenants. He then wanted to know more about our Fulltiming and where we planned to go. It turn into more of a social visit than anything else.

The remainder of the day continued to be spent at the computers for both of us. Kathy ended her travel research for the day in Kansas while I managed to convert all but eight files that if I can’t copy them will end up deleting. You must think this is boring but it is all part of the preparation for our Fulltiming Adventure which will give us the freedom to live a more relaxed lifestyle. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. I see you photos are from Tarpon Springs. We really enjoyed that town. I will guess that you will be returning once you are back on the road.

  2. Since Kathy was researching Kansas, number one on the list of things to see is the Araba Steamboat Museum in Kansas City, MO. The salt mine and space center in Hutchinson, Dodge City, Coffeyville, to name a few.

  3. Just remember go slow and easy you're not going to be on vacation. Its going to be a different lifestyle.

  4. We don't even plan much , just go with the flow travel when and where we want and very seldom ever make reservations. There is always a place to park our home for the night.
We have the freedom and that's what we love about the lifestyle. It's all about the journey for us not necessarily the destination.
