Hot And Cold And Hockey.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

With last night being the coldest night of the season for our area we both seemed to find that our new Bedcover we bought to bring with us in the trailer was keeping us both too warm. With the heaters set very low and that blanket we actually had to get out of bed to cool down. We are certain this will work perfectly in the trailer. We even sat at the computers getting some very late night reading done until we were comfortable enough to go back to sleep. Strangely we were up at a reasonable time this morning and there were more blogs to read but we had to go.

Shortly after noon hour bundled up like a couple of Eskimos we were on our way to the new Belle River Arena to watch our grandson Tyler play hockey. We had missed a couple of weeks because we were sick and then there were a couple of down weeks so it’s been over a month since we have seen him play. Today his team played on ice “C” pad which has the worst seating and the least amount of heat in the complex. The teams were evenly matched but Tyler’s team scored the tie breaker with only minutes before the end of the game for a final score of 5 to 4.

Since it was nearly 2:00 in the afternoon by the time we were on our way home we stopped at A&W where we used a coupon to enjoy a tasty and filling meal at reduced price.

Back at the apartment Kathy busied herself rearranging another bin that will be soon making its way to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit along with other things we’ll be storing. I busied myself dealing with our pill daucets. When we are travelling it becomes a PITA when every Saturday night is pill night. It may take me longer at one sitting to get it all done this way but when I can do them for a month and a half at a time it gives us free time elsewhere. 

Due to the lateness of lunch a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup was more than enough for our supper this evening. We’re supposed to have another cold one tonight and tomorrow so we’ll try to get more packing finished in an effort of being ready for our Fulltiming Adventure.
