Going In The Right Direction.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Try as I might my night’s sleep was extremely broken but I was sitting at my computer before 7:00 this morning. Of course my absence affects Kathy’s sleep as well and we had finished our breakfast by 8:00. We did spend the remainder of our time home catching up on our reading as there was nothing I could accomplish on Kathy’s new computer until we purchased a new Microsoft Office Program.
Tyler (Black) backhanding his first goal.
By 10:30 we were once again heading for the New Belle River Arena to watch our grandson Tyler play hockey. Our daughter Karen dampened our enthusiasm when she mentioned the team Tyler’s team would be facing had last beaten the team that Tyler faced yesterday 8 to 1. Since Tyler’s coach had left instruction that he should play defense that is what the assistant coach did yesterday but not today. He set Tyler loose as center where he scored his usual hat trick of three goals. Today’s game kept everyone on the edge of their seats with most people walking out with sore throats from all the screaming. In the end the other team just barely won with a last minute goal beating Tyler’s team 6 to 5.

On our way home we stopped at KFC where we used a coupon to have our supper for lunch. This also gave us time to warm up and just to relax for a bit.
About to make his second goal.
As mentioned earlier we had to return to Staples so we chose the outlet closer to our home where we explained about the new computer and the need for the Microsoft Office Program. When Paul told us the other store should have offered us the program at a discount because we’d purchased the computer we were more than upset. However to make up for the other store’s incompetence he first applied his employee discount on the product then gave us the discount we should have gotten on top of that. That ended up being over a forty dollar savings to us and some good PR for his store.
Another backhanded goal for a Hat-trick..
Since we were still satisfied from our lunch we needed to walk around Staples for a while before going next door to Walmart. We got additional walking in there as well as Kathy purchasing some personal products while we were there.
Not as bad a loss as yesterday.
Back at the apartment I spent another hour adding the Microsoft Office Program, fine tuning a few other settings and rebooting Kathy’s new laptop numerous times so everything worked the way it should. As I’m writing this post she is busy catching up on her bookwork that she couldn’t do without her laptop. For our lunch/supper all we ate was a bowl of soup. With less than ten weeks before we officially become Fulltimers there is still a lot to accomplish. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. PC's are frustrating, that's why I bought my Mac 7 years ago.

  2. Tyler’s coach better listen to the assistant coach. He knows Tyler’s skills!
