Planning Changes And Still Packing For Fulltiming.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even without the sounds of Jackhammers and Hammer Drills this morning I was still up before 7:30. I’d finished all my morning reading by the time that Kathy got up an hour later. Luckily we had no new accumulation overnight and the sun was shining brightly in the sky but the temperature had just risen above the 21 F (-6 C) mark.

With nothing planned for the day after breakfast Kathy began her morning reading while I did my morning chores before returning to my laptop. Kathy has laxed as far as scheduling our travels but is still in research mode of things to do in the areas that we’ll be traveling in or near as well as attractions we might enjoy seeing.
For some time I’ve been contemplating a few changes in the layout of our blog but in order to do it flawlessly I had to research its entire construction. I also discussed these thoughts with Kathy and once we were in agreement I now know what to change, where to change it and when.

After lunch we again packed a number of things we could haul to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. Using the utility cart to bring them to the truck still took two loads to accomplish. The only bad thing was the cold weather that seemed to take your breath away. Once at Guardian Storage things worked a little different than most days. Kathy was busy stocking our toiletries and other supplies on the shelves and hanging the clothes on their appropriate rack while I hauled everything in.

We have both been feeling closed in this winter since we decided not to go south but we also know that it will pay off big in the Spring. Unfortunately with the bad weather we’ve had the last few days a feeling between Hitch-itch and Cabin Fever was not helping with the packing so we decided instead of going straight home that we’d go to the Michigan Diner on Manning Road for supper. Luckily we order from the senior’s menu so the portions are slightly smaller but when we finished our meal we needed to do some walking.

There were some supplies that we had intended to wait until spring to get for the trailer that we can only get at Canadian Tire. Spring came early as we walked the entire store getting what we needed and getting some exercise while we were at it. We continued our walking exercise over at Walmart where we managed to pick up additional groceries we needed. It all boiled down to us just getting out of our apartment for a short while and enjoying every second of it.

What tomorrow will bring we don’t know for certain but we can dream and hope it all works out for the best. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
