Continued Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy definitely seems to have shaken off the last of that cold/flu virus that we were both fighting at the beginning of the month. This morning I hadn’t even reached the kitchen when I heard her getting out of bed. During breakfast we discussed what we want to accomplish for today. 

After making the bed I started sorting laundry in hopes of not having to fight crowds downstairs. To my surprise at such an early time I had the laundry room all to myself. Kathy busied herself with getting supper started in the Crock Pot before sorting through more books of past travel itineraries and old maps. 

Between washing and drying the clothes downstairs I managed to reassemble the inside of the office closet. When we first moved into our apartment I removed the shelf and clothing bar so that we could put the Plastic Storage Shelf and Homebuilt Shelving Unit inside. That allowed us to not only neatly store plenty of office supplies but baking supplies as well. In less than twenty minutes the closet was exactly the way it was when we moved in. 

By the time I finished folding the clothes downstairs it was past 1:00 when we sat down for a late lunch. Once we’d put the folded clothes away I finally got caught up on my morning reading that I’d put aside in an attempt to get the laundry done early. Next Kathy and I saran wrapped the Curio Cabinet and a few other things so that we’ll be able to safely bring them to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. It was nearly 3:30 before I could busy myself transferring important E-mails to documents on the old PC that I want to donate. 

At 6:30 Matthew knocked on our door. He drove over 30 miles from Chatham to purchase the bunkbed ladder that Kathy had posted on Kijiji. He had his two year old son with him and he explained that he and his wife had just bought their first travel trailer and needed the ladder for their children’s bunks. We told him of our Fulltiming plans only to make him very jealous of us. We told him he’s got plenty of time but it’s good to get the children used to traveling like that at an early age. 

Whatever the weather brings tomorrow we’ll continue making more progress towards our Fulltiming goal. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
