Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
While sitting at the computers last night Kathy and I both
had a cup of Sleepy Time Tea in
hopes of having a better night’s sleep than the night before. Because we were
both fighting this cold/flu virus we also topped it off with a Tylenol Cold & Sinus tablet. That
seemed to be a winning combination for the first couple of hours. We each had a
number of wakeful hours that would later catch up on us later in the day.
Before sitting at the computers we set the Crock Pot to cooking Kathy’s version
of Honey Garlic Chicken for supper.
Shortly after finishing our lunch the electrician that was
tied up on another job on Wednesday came knocking on our door. He spent more
time walking back and forth to the control room so he could first shut the
power off then to reactivate it then to actually change the controller. Now we
can sit in the apartment without sweating and having the doors and windows open
to try and be comfortable. Don’t forget that was with the controller turned
off.
All that heat seemed to create an incubator effect for all
the germs we were fighting. We had been using our spare time going through
files and business cards discarding duplicates and triplicates and shredding
anything that could have personal information on it. We made plans on getting
rid of more STUFF that we’ll no
longer be needing once we start Fulltiming. By the middle of the afternoon we were both
feeling the effects of our colds and we both settled in on our new recliner
loveseat for a Snap that would last more than an hour.
Kathy and I shared a sweet potato to go with the chicken for
supper and everything tasted wonderful. The 6 o’clock news warned us of a drastic
change coming to our area within the next seventy-two hours. We think we might
have to hibernate for a while. Thanks for following along and
feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
